I'm not really big on revenge, and rangerdanger gave good advice, but stealing 300 bucks is a felony, or would be if this weren't a drug deal. So though I'm of the mind to let things go, I can understand and perhaps even agree with someone who wants revenge, sort of a personal justice issue. Just don't go overboard if you do something, try to make it equal to what he took. And if you can forget about it, that's a much better option.

And dude, just as a side note. You think you'd be more careful with 300 bucks when buying from someone you don't know so well...I mean, it's one thing to give the money over when it's 30 bucks or something (that's dumb too, actually), but with that much cash, I'm surprised you were so careless.

 

^I had a friend with me, he had 3 guys with him, so i felt intimidated and didn't want to question that much, and i knew it was sketchy. Also, like i said, i have been dry for a few weeks. i jumped at the oppurtunity to get alot.

Who cares if he had that many guys with him? It's a business deal, and it's your money. You, being outnumbered, even have a right to be sure you're getting what you're paying for.

Well, I dunno, i guess if the guy wanted the money bad enough to assault him and take it, he was gonna lose it anyways, so he might as well have tried to keep it. I don't think being stupid with one's money is going to help one keep their money. If the guy wanted to do the deal, he would have agreed to a mutual swap. if he insists on getting the money first, walk away.

I know this is all after-the-fact, but still. I can't imagine ever being so careless with that much money, that's a week and a half of work for me.

well im buying again today. getting 1/2. its a new dealer, so i know i shouldn't be going in for that much, but it is my friends best friend from his town... and both will be there. its gunna be at a movie, so he cant just bolt. exchange at the same time, and im bringing alot of friends this time. wish me luck...
