I'm never quick to believe any political rumor. People will say anything.

This one seems to explain a lot of things.

Trump was a respectable student, nothing more.
Trump got into Wharton as a transfer student through, “an interview with a friendly Wharton admissions officer who was one of Freddy’s old high school classmates.” Freddy is Trump's older brother. And he was the son of one of the wealthiest NY businessmen. He transferred from Fordham where his grades were "respectable".

Most profiles of Trump state that he graduated first in his class from Wharton in 1968, however the 1968 commencement program doesn't list Trump as receiving any honors at all.

Cruz is an asshole, and will never be president.

Latest poll, rounded off to the nearest percentage point, Lindsey Graham's support is zero. That makes him less popular in America than ISIS.

Apparently, even the majority of SC people who voted for him in the last election think he's a good enough senator, but doesn't have what it takes to run the country. That group is big enough to give him more than 0.5% if they were loyal.

Debatable. ;) People are constantly making jokes about him being John McCain's bitch. They seem to have a heavy bromance going on.

Graham comes up with some of the very best Trump zingers.

Why do liberals hate Trump so much? He's given so much money to the Clinton foundation given so much money to swine like Harry Reid and Anthony Wiener.

Rick Perry has become the first one to quit. Normally in these situations, media people spend some time debating about who is going to get that former candidate's financial and polling support, but Perry had nothing to divide up.

So, currently we're looking at Trump vs Carson, with Fiorina getting a lot of media attention.
It'll be interesting to see how the polls shake out after tomo... wait... *checks time*... tonight's debate!

Carson may have a lot of support, but he'd wither in a general election.
I swear he's ready to fall asleep at any second!

Carly Fiorina should be the big winner, when the next round of polls are taken. This was her first time in the main debate group, and she spoke well. I'm predicting that much of her percentage point gain may come at the expense of Carson, who did not maintain the same quality level as his previous performance.

Chris Christie regained more of the old rough style that used to endear him to so many voters, but it's probably too little, much too late.

Donald Trump turned in his most inadequate performance so far, but as Steve Schmidt insightfully put it, it may not matter to his supporters. Trump is always an adolescent in a man's body, but last night was an extreme case. His immature followers should have loved every minute of it.

Jeb Bush did better this time, but also showed us again that he would rather support the Bush family brand than win the party nomination. So be it.

I watched a DVD of Fast & Furious 6 last nite.

I prefer a higher standard of maturity & realism in my entertainment. :D

    >3 hours was a long time, especially with only two short breaks. I took my junk food and bathroom breaks when Cruz and Rubio were talking. Rand Paul no longer matters either, but he can be entertaining when he goes after Trump.

Nothing on earth could persuade me to vote for any of these people, no matter who the Democratic nominee turns out to be, but I do enjoy watching them slug it out.

The CNN circus last night was long on sandbox banter, with the clowns all calling each other names like little kids at the playground.

There was no serious policy presented by anyone that would really change anything for the better.

The ugliness was exposed by Fiorina, when she described the the abortion of a fetus. Cons are so good at horrifying their electorate, while not doing a single thing to take care of children already born. Destroy healthcare, destroy education, destroy food stamps, destroy planned parenthood, and destroy welfare to the poor and make them have kids they can't afford. This is the cons idea of fixing this country.

The most intelligent question asked was, "What would you like your secret service code name to be if elected?"

Pundits are saying Fiorina won the debate. I guess it doesn't matter that her strong argument about the Planned Parenthood video was a flat-out lie. The scene she referenced doesn't exist. It no longer matters whether you tell the truth. It only matters how skillfully you lie, how you play the game.

That debate was incredibly mind-numbing and infuriating at the same time.

I agree that Fiorina had a strong showing on that stage, even though her strongest points were lies.

And Jeb's exclamation that his brother kept us safe would be hilarious if the truth wasn't so horrendous.

Christie impressed me with having some good points... like when he called out Trump and Fiorina for snipping at each other.
Granted, overall he's still an asshole with some horrible ideas and shameful acts that he proclaims as things to be proud of, like defunding PP in NJ.

Jeb's eyes darted around a lot, like he was off balance. And those stupid thick glasses only make it more noticeable. Can't he afford contacts? Carly wants a bigger military in an age where we should be reducing it. Why? Why does she think we need more ships? Not to actually use them. But as a "show of strength". Emphasis on "show".

I like how the debate was kicked off with a classy loaded question!

Carly Fiorina's big night is turning into a nightmare. Her passionate description of abortion footage turned out to be a complete fabrication. That video footage does not exist. What was she thinking? Did she really think that nobody in the media and nobody on the entire internet would discover and expose her lie? This says something very bad about her judgment.

To be fair, she did list a few accomplishments in her answer.
