Oh, I plan on having fun. Walks on the beach with hubby. Sight seeing...Our son is going with us. He has never seen the Atlantic Ocean...I just hope it doesn't rain...

Both dude. I don't know what's going to happen... I was always a little embarassed to say I work for the Government and never really liked it that much, but it's good money and hard to leave that ''golden cage''.

In my particular situation, (bilingual, young, smart), I probably wouldnt have problems finding another job in the public service, but I'm sorta debating wether I even want to.

I could go back to school or something... The possibilities are wide open right now...

 

what kind of work were you doing? i think i've asked before actually, but i can't remember. you could always head to fort mcmurray and sell your soul to the oil companies for a while.

Yeah if worse comes to worse I could always do that. I really have no idea what I want to do though. That's sorta the beauty of it. I remember feeling like this in highschool. ''i can be anything, what do I choose'' It used to be a stress back in high school, now it feels more like a blessing.

Looks like nice weather, highs around 70f, with a couple days of rain. Those would be good days to have long lunches/dinners in a place with an ocean view.

At age 27 I quit my job and took some schooling. Then changed career. Then lost that job, got another, and went to evening school for three years, then changed career again at age 31. But of course, you wouldn't want to end up like me...
