How about we stop thinking about skin color at all? It's irrelevant. There are beautiful women of all colors, shapes and sizes. Wanting someone of a certain skin tone is basically fetishism.
Not necessarily. I completely agree that there are beautiful ladies of all shapes and flavors, and I wouldn't simply not consider dating a girl because she's white. But nothing gets my blood pumping like a black woman. Straight and simple. Makes sense genetically too. I mean we're supposed to be attracted to the strongest genes for mating... and contrast makes the best product!
How do you figure that? I see people. Then I decide if I like them. It just so happens that about 7 out of 10 times I see a woman that really sets my desire on fire, she happens to be black. Of course, not all black women I see do this. A Latina/Asian/Middle Eastern/White woman is just as capable of doing that to me. But 7 out of 10 is not a coincidence.
kj - would you object to a guy basically being attracted to you because of your skin tone? Sorry to be blunt, just curious.
i want a guy to like me for me, not just because of my skin color. i want a guy to get to know me and like my personality because beauty is only skin deep but ugly is to the bone. if i happen to be a skin color he finds himself attracted to well then hey thats like a bonus
lol breathe brother! I'm here trying to tell a lady she's beautiful and you come in with "Looking good is no foundation for a relationship." I'll have to try that one next time I'm trying to get with a girl. "Hey girl, you are lookin' GOOD tonight. I mean of course, looking good is no foundation for a relationship."
Yet you can't deny attraction. People have eyes; without knowing a man at all, I can look at him on the street and have good feelings, similar to 'like', completely based on his appearance. This is human nature. Babies will view photographs of women and gaze longer on those that are considered more beautiful. Isn't it true that women are often attracted to men who somehow remind them of their fathers? We're animals, after all. Of course, it's needless to say that the outer appearance of something will crack and fall off, forgotten, if the person is not inwardly attractive and compatible also. ~Peace
I'm not denying she's pretty. I'm just saying how someone looks isn't the be all and end all of a relationship. Jesus.
You know what's really weird is how you can initially be ambivalent towards a person's appearance, then talk to them for just five minutes and they magically become more attractive! "Yeah hey. how's it going." "Oh, you like Zeppelin too?" "My... your eyes are a pretty shade of blue." Haha
Actually, they say it's more pheromonic than anything else. You can basically smell out anyone who's too genetically close to ya.
