I had an internet friend who one day, told me that he loved me. When I told him he barely knew me, he said he was going to start cutting again, wasn't sure if he would be able to stop, and wasn't sure if he would ever be able to speak with me again. It felt like I swallowed razorblades - I also had no way to get ahold of him to see if he was ok afterwards. I did end up talking to him once afterwards, but.... god, that was awful. He was schizophrenic, but on meds, so I don't know to what extent that may have factored into his behaviour.

Like shroom said, most people who do that have NO respect for your emotions in the situation.

 

I never get that either - or the guys who chase women well after they've been told to fuck off. If the girl doesn't want you around then why embarass yourself? It's supposed to be romantic but I still don't get it
