Red Lobster Sucks!

Hey Vin, it actually was free. My sister bitched up the manager until he got tired of hearing it, and he paid for the whole table.

 

Yes, I can relate to this.

 

Well, I took my newfound fortunes and went to Aeropostale! lol!

I remember this one night, my Mom had a BITCH FEST party for everyone who worked at Red Lobster. The whole night they sat around bitching about the guests and how much they hate when people come in who complain about there food just to get it for free. Sometimes it's not always the waitresses fault. It's the cooks in the back. And then the waitress ends up not getting tipped very well because the cook in the back too forever to cook your food. I feel bad for them.

 

Umm, well we actually left a $15 dollar tip (YEAH!!!!!!!!!) even though the bill was wiped clean. We took care of the server even though she didn't take care of us...and it wasn't just that the food was bad and all, the waitress actually screamed at us, because the food took too long to come out. That's crazy...

 

Hmmm.......Welll...................Great....

well it's a place where you can't expect to get bread with one meata ball. plus it's a bit on the spendy side. maybe not over the top spendy but still, if you can afford it why would you want to on a plastic franchise? ok so it's not completely plastic (i.e. phoney) maybe, but really if you can afford it, think about the kind of world your priorities are creating, and there are places that make really good 'slow food' with localy grown organic produce, and it isn't just making a statement to prefer patronizing them over someplace like red lobster or tgi friday's. it's actual incentives that are actualy being created all up and down the chain of food supply.

you know incentives create markets and markets create conditions and togather our choices and priorities of choices creat those incentives.

so i wouldn't say red lobster or the like suck exactly but rather our own thoughtlessness in too often choosing them over a mom and pop greasy spoon stone cold organic local inn (that probably costs more then macdogburger but less then red lobster and has reall as good if not better food then the highest priced hoity toity gormet type places. and a plastic franchise place pretending to be haut gorment, i mean, get real. they do have pretty darn good food, or did, ages ago the last time someone treated me to going there, but then that's been like more then ten years ago too and in that lenth of time everything can and often does chainge too)
