I've been following this little thing around looks like it's missing a leg la cucaracha la cucaracha ya no puede caminar..
Looking east down the unsigned Willow Brook Connector (CT reference route 571) in Berlin. It was recently milled and paved. It certainly needed it. It connects to (northbound) Exit 24 of CT Route 9. I'm standing on CT Route 71 (New Britain Road).
Two pic of the Connecticut River, taken 10 years ago this weekend. First one is roughly south. I pass by that big river island (top center) all the time on Amtrak/CT Rail these days. The left side of the pic is mostly Enfield, CT. The second pic was looking north towards Springfield, MA, on final approach to Bradley Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks. The bridge in the foreground is the South End Bridge, which takes US Route 5 into Agawam, MA.
Some sax guy, made of glass pieces...before the rain came pourin' down... MGM Springfield IS open. Hard to tell with the rain. This corner building is supposed to be a Wahlberger's (?) soon.
Connecticut seriously needs some f-----g rain. The all-day soaking kind. NOW! This is the Connecticut River bridge looking south, between Enfield and Windsor Locks, CT. That plant stuff and rocks are normally never visible. We had nearly all wind with a tropical storm two weeks ago, along with roughly a half inch (1.27 cm) in the last two days.
From I-91 South at the West Springfield/Chicopee, MA town line. Looking north towards Mount Tom in Holyoke.
South down the Connecticut River from I-91 South. I was leaving West Springfield and heading into Chicopee, MA.
The first three pics were from Springfield, MA on a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon. The last pic was with a stuck Amtrak train at the Berlin (CT) station today after 5 pm. Looking north.
MGM Springfield opened 2 years ago Monday. Exit 6 from I-91 North. The Amtrak train was suspended. People had to get off and bus it to New Haven. Possible tornado in North Haven, CT is why.
