There's been a little cross here ages but it has been replaced, and with a new plaque.

 

On my walk today

 

I see The Dark Knight at the top. Good taste.

 

i see date movie below it. good taste cancelled.

 

All we have are those little libraries on a stand. There's one here at the Berlin, CT train station.

 

I just love the blackthorn blossoms! My average phone camera doesn't do them justice. It's such a brief time they look like this but it excites me every year.

Is it gorse? Loads of that at the moment too, I love it.

Did I ever show you my favorite bit of Driftwood I found on a pacific beach and brought it home ?

 

I was drunk watching a beach boys tribute band playing on the beach , wandered off down to the surf and found this ! The coral is from a beach in mexico

 

Hmmmm - Blackthorn - let the bees pollonate it and in the Autumn there will be sloes to make sloe gin with !!! - Similarly the gorse flower, if picked, can make a delightful wine !!!

@Driftrue : Enjoy your blooming trees. It's April 18th and parts of Connecticut (USA) are getting accumulating wet snow and rain. Shocking when the airport north of Hartford got only 4/10 inch (snow) for all of February!
