Frog hanging out on top of our back door this morning. Scared the hell out of my wife.

 

I drove around out in the county today looking for old barns. I live in the type of county that has lots of those.













I also found some horses.

 

Went by the Connecticut River over the Founders Bridge (CT Route 2) into East Hartford today. The Old State House was our original capitol building...at least when Hartford became our sole capitol?

P.S. Honorable and John G. Rowland never deserved to be in the same sentence. (He had to resign during his third term.)

 

The empty lot of 3 Constitution Plaza in Hartford...it was the site of Broadcast House from 1961 until about 2007 or 2008. It was home to WFSB-TV (CBS) channel 3 of Hartford (letters were WTIC-TV until 1974). Gayle King spent a lot of time at that place. Channel 3 went South down I-91 to Rocky Hill afterwards.
