@SuzanneAU1977 That's an awesome kitty! How old is he/she? @Driftrue I've lived in Maine twice, both times in seaside towns. You'd think I'd know moss, right?
I swear my mother once named a cat Malachi. We had others named Saint P. and mine was Wendy. (I was 9 years old...don't ask!)
Well there are many types of moss : ) and part of why I took that picture is it amused me that it almost looked unreal, or like something else, up close. So your question pleased me! It was not near the sea. That type of moss, btw, always seems dry.. Instead of how some moss is always damp. And it's springy and soft. If you're going to sleep outside on the ground, that moss is the perfect place. I actually want a moss garden. I wonder if there's a book on moss varieties...
Moss gardens are "a thing"... There is probably a book. If not there's a lot of information on line. Transplanting it can be tricky, though.
A quick google search tells me that there are many books on moss variety and now I WANT TO READ THEM ALL! I'm a bit of a geek about moss. I collect it and make collages with it. This is why we need to be friends IRL
Tbh im not even sure Odysseus had a golden fleece? I know someone did in mythology lol. But Odysseus sounds kinda right. and I think no weapon could pierce it maybe. I dunno I am pretty rusty on Greek mythos. The fleece was most likely just a very shiny protection vest that was given to the hero by a God. Just a misrepresentation of misunderstood technology.
I was a dumb ass. I went out in a light hoodie, lightweight long sleeve, skinny jeans, and moccasins. xD
