While I agree with your opinion, I think you'd be more respected as a 'doctor' if you used proper spending.

Maybe you'll be able to correct your misinformation, grammar, and spelling once you complete your secondary education.

well its true, if you bash uncut males for being unclean i will correct you. the only reason circumcision ever took place is because parents where to lazy to teach there children proper cleaning methods, the other are of course for religious reasons.

don't argue with me cause two wrongs do not make a right... get it?

its been proven in all medical survey/studies, so who you going to argue with?

you can't honestly think that cutting the tip of a males penis off is a good thing, i have discouraged any parent from performing a circumcision on there child and it's only because its not fair to make those kind of decisions without first consulting the child first, and how can you do that when there and infant?

i find it cruel unfair and crippling to any boy/man later in life.

its hard to be nice when you continue to fight the truth.

In my opinion circumcision of babies is a grotesque mutilation and should be classified as a sex crime.

Your practice of spreading uninformed misinformation only muddies the issue. If you desire to truly fool people into believing that you're a medical doctor, then I suggest that you get somebody with a high school diploma to proof read your posts and correct your spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.

there is many different ways to put thing's so next time i will remember to use proper language since im dealing with the like's of you almighty one :)

sarcasticly speaking of course, go do your home work cause your professor forgot to teach you to only speak of what you know.

facts can hurt and i see i found a person who argues only for his own pleasure. right is right, wrong is wrong !

I chose to get a circumcision when I was 22. I had slight phimosis, and I previously had torn the frenulum on the underside of the glans, and I was afraid that it would happen again. In short, I had it done to have a more durable penis. Everyone is different though. Being circumcised has its ups and downs. Sometimes it's a good thing, and sometimes it isn't needed BUT SERIOUSLY- it shouldn't be taboo to discuss. It shouldn't be considered a sex crime. And finally, people spend too much time wondering how much it will affect their sex life, when there are soooo many other factors that bear much more weight. I'm not going to defend one way or the other. Be happy with what you have, and if you want to change it, research the facts and make a choice.

If anyone has any questions about it, I would be happy to share my story. I did my homework, got the operation, and know many pros and cons from personal experience.

    Please do share your experience.

    How severe was your phimosis?
Where did you do your research?
How did you work up the courage to have it done?
How long did the recovery last and what was it like?
What differences have you observed while masturbating?
What differences have you observed while having sex?
If you had it to do all over again, would you or not? And why?

No matter your answers, be prepared for a lot of emotional responses.

if you had phimosis then you wouldn't have even had the gliding sensation, so it's hard to say that you even fully experienced being intact

did you try the steroid cream or stretching techniques to solve the problem?

    In response to those above:

    How severe was your phimosis?

Not very. I was able to fully retract my foreskin, but not pull down too hard with an erection. If I did pull down too far, my girth would cause my foreskin to crack. I had some scar tissue as a result of this. Also it would pull my glans down by the frenulum on the underside. At one point, my girlfriend and I were going at it for our 3rd time in a row and things were getting a bit dry. The thrusting caused my fenulum to tear and bleed A LOT. It did heal, but the fear of having this occur again hung over my head in future encounters and caused me to hold back a bit (I believe that there's no room for holding back in sex). .........I do have a family history of phimosis though. Many of my relatives had to have a circumcision after 55 or 60. One of them had penile cancer. I wanted to prevent trouble down the road.

Where did you do your research?

I met with 3 doctors, and spent countless hours online for about 3 years. I found a lot of opinions, and a lot of people who felt passionately about them. I even found a site that was a support group for people going through with it. I found a lot of stats too. And a lot of stats that contradicted the others. I read about at least 20 or more ways that it could be performed. I read about scar line placement, etc. I chose to have a "low" and somewhat "loose" circumcision. This is the most common "later in life" style. The reason that I chose to have the scar low was to prevent stds. They enter more easily through non pigmented skin (as the inside of the foreskin has less pigment). The reason that I chose to have the skin left somewhat loose was to make sure that there was enough for an erection. I read of a lot of instances where the skin was left too tight and caused pain and other problems.

How did you work up the courage to have it done?

Good question...... I just did. It was like making any kind of irreversible decision: I wondered until the last second if I was making the right choice. I felt educated, but still, there was no way to compare before hand.

How long did the recovery last and what was it like?

It was supposed to take about a week, but I have a really active job, so I took two. The first few days my shaft was really swollen. Like maybe 3-4" in diameter. It was tough to tell what had been done. The swelling was TOUGH to keep down. I had to try to keep it in an upright position to let gravity work for rather than against me. The hardest part was probably the picky-ness of the stitches as they dried out, and worse, the super sensitive skin of my glans took a long time to get thick enough to rub around in my pants.

What differences have you observed while masturbating?

Hmmm... I don't have as much slack as I used to. At first I missed the feeling of the foreskin sliding over my glans, but it felt nice to be able to pull down hard. This was a totally new feeling to me- even pressure on the tip.

What differences have you observed while having sex?

I don't get over stimulated as often. That, and I can thrust harder. Maybe the entire journey is a bit less detailed on the surface of my glans, but I don't really miss that feeling. Over all it was a trade that I'm happy with.

If you had it to do all over again, would you or not? And why?

Yes, I would. Maybe I'd spend a bit more time looking into how to minimize scar tissue; i have a bit beneath the surface. I could probably get some of the excess tissue removed, but I'd prefer not to mess with it at this point as it's working just fine as it is. And it isn't a scar that everyone can see, so my girl and I are the only ones that have to live with it.

    Also:
    To coud7-
I believe that I experienced the gliding sensation. It was the tight frenulum beneath that became an issue.

I didn't try steroid cream, but I did use lotion and a stretching for my entire life. :) I did also consider only having the frenulum cut. There is a procedure for frenulum breeve, but the doctors didn't think that they could reduce the tightness enough. And further, this would have left my skin more weak where I needed it to be strongest. A full circumcision was able to reduce the loose skin on the opposite side, and create a more even "pull."

    IN CLOSING:
There are a lot of people that lived their entire life with what I had and did just fine. I don't believe that circumcision should be the standard at birth, but I am happy with my results, and I will have MY children circumcised when they're young. When they wonder why, I'll tell them my story (in more detail) and tell them that it was much easier for them to heal at a younger age. I run into a lot of people that try to push their opinion on me, but I am happy to be able to back up my opinions having lived both ways, which is more than they can usually offer.

It's important to remember that each person is different, and each person has the right to believe what they will. I will continue to stay in tune with peoples' arguments (pro and con) and try to make an educated choice for my children's future.

Too much information! Just what Cutted wants so his propaganda machine can have more information. Speaking of which I haven't heard from him recently. Do you suppose he is getting his Moel license? He'll be back with a vengeance. Grab your pricks and hold on to your 4skins for dear life, men.

My nephew's boys were home birthed, and not circumcised like their dad. It was left that if difficulties showed up later due to UTIs or phimosis, or if they wanted to be, it would be done.
