Jesus shows compassion to all, this is true, but He is also the final Judge - read The Revelation in the Bible - He is the one that will judge the Quick and the Dead.
So, compassion has a time and place, but it has an end - as do all things.

Layna, I am sorry to say that as a fellow follower of Christ and an American (unlike you), I'm appalled at your hypocritical and extremely conceited statements about the representative democracy (not a republic) that I live in, as well as what religion is and is not.
This great country was founded on freedom of religion. ANY RELIGION! Christianity, compared to the "false religions" of which you speak is in it's infancy. Your religion works for you. It may not work for someone else. However, with the exception of satanism, each and every religion is a means to the same end. Each one only works towards peace after death, resolution of wrongs, an explanation of why things happen, and in some events someone to praise when something goes right.
I'm a firm believer that Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior, however I also follow Buddhist meditations, Hindu beliefs, Taoism, Shintoism, Animism, some of the beliefs of the very first and native Americans, and even paganism. Each has fundamentally good ideas, great teachings of how to interact in society and our blessed planet. To say that yours is the only right religion is completely and totally conceited, seeing as you don't actually KNOW what is to come.
As far as Bush being re-elected because of his beliefs, more than half our nation will not vote based oni religious ideals. And even if they are, where in the Bible does it say that mass murder of anyone, let alone a mass number, is right? is moral? Didn't Jesus himself say to turn the other cheek?
And do not dare call me demonised or satanic. You are talking to a girl who's witnessed more than her fair share of miracles, and lives by the belief that God will provide. It's promised. I've slept in cars, been hungry, raped, abused, almost killed, and seen some very harsh things in my 18 years. However, I have the wisdom and the peace of my Lord Jesus Christ to see me through those situations, and to muck through rhetoric that's been spewed, such as this! If you attack me verbally, it only shows that you are no better than those who attacked you.
