Here is the worst one I have ever seen. I couldn't even make it to the end and my friend that watched it said it got worse and worse as it went on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoUzj82UyPo
i think the cow one posted by dj was more grousome. but this shit is just barabaric, why the fuck are they eating dogs in the first place? damn asians are so cruel.
fuck that 2nd video didnt really disturb me too much, but that white dog hanging is pretty bad, there's no reason to have to hang them alive like that here's 2 i favotired on youtube, both are MUCH worse, although different animals: Dolphins in Japan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UOGgUdNhVM Austrailian Animal testing/production: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AsZj4ZoCj8
At least cows are unconscious when they die. I had to read Fast Food Nation for my business ethics class last year and the first thing they do is shoot them in the head. It's not a lethal blow but it knocks them the fuck out. Also, the slaughterhouses are designed in a way so that they can't see what awaits them until they are being knocked out.
the matrix.... dude I love this quote. I really think that scene is a one of best scenes in any movie ever...
I agree plus I always thought meat and milk were part of a healthy diet. since when they are "horrible" for you? It's ok if someone is against eating meat or dairies cause they dont want to hurt/kill animals. I have nothing against anyone who leads such a life style, as long as they dont try to impose theire point of view on others, though.
i watched somethin about americans torturing butterballs right before thanksgiving and it was pretty sick they grab them by the neck and hit them against the walls and cages before snapping their necks they would kick them very hard if they ever got in their way and they laugh their asses off the whole time i guess some people have no feelings towards other creatures on this earth
you can't blame that on veganism. blame that on being fucking idiots. some parents raise their children vegan all of their life and most of them are just as healthy as omnivores, if not more. soy milk and apple juice does not = veganism, it = malnutrition humans are natural omnivores meaning a healthy omnivorous diet should be 90% vegetable, 10% meat(that is how it occurs in nature) but who in an industrialized nation actually follows that? humans are not obligate carnivores, though. we don't NEED meat, but we ARE designed to eat it. this is bullshit. there are also laws prohibiting marijuana. does it really mean anything? is there a government official watching every factory farm to ensure that no animals are abused? those dogs may have it WORSE than U.S. meat animals, but it doesn't mean that they aren't tortured. animals get boiled alive and mutilated all the time in factory farms. i think you mean to say that you feel bad for cute animals like doggies and kitty cats that get tortured to death, not animals like pigs and cows. cuz they are gross. and they smell. and they aren't even real animals anyway. have you ever seen an assembly line where chickens are boiled alive 'accidentally'? it happens more often than you would think. or, have you ever seen a pig's legs break under it's own massive weight due to the steroids they are fed? i don't understand how some people care so much about abusing cute, domesticated animals but when it comes to meat animals they find ways of justifying it. i guess you kind of have to if you if you want to live with yourself.
Did I say ANYTHING about chickens or pigs? Someone stated that everyone was shocked because they are treating cats and dogs the same way we treat cows. I responded with a factual statement.
sorry, i misread this as meaning ALL slaughterhouses. i apologize for pointing out the holes in your statement.
LOL I THINK YOU should READ my posts that you quote. I SPECIFICALLY said I am against BULL (bull=male cow) FIGHTING because they torture the bull before it dies. So please stop ASSUMING and making an ASS out of yourself and actually read my posts. I feel for the pigs and cows as well.
ok... kind of an old thread but ok you obviously deny that animals are mistreated inside of factory farms for whatever reason you have. i don't know why, when, if you would actually do some research on the subject, you would find out differently. i believe youtube is a good place to find videos. a google search for 'factory farms' will also turn up a lot of good results.when you're more knowledgeable on the subject, maybe then we can talk.
I never denied they are mistreated. What is obvious to you is something you assume. People need to stop assuming so damn much because it makes them look stupid. I would say that in the US most farm animals are not treated as bad as those dogs and cats are treated. I do not buy from the companies who treat them poorly and do not kill them quickly. On a different note: I was just watching World's Most Amazing Videos and this guy takes a running charge and shoves his head up a horses ass in a circus. How fucked up is that?! Poor horse...
Dude they do all the shit to them while they are alive and concious. They hang them, throw them in the mixer to break their bones, burn them alive. It's all part of the process before they die.
