Hey, everyone. Thanks for the replies. I'm glad I got to see the variety of "views" on my situation. I think the majority make a good point- the hone my skills with less serious partners before finding a long-term girlfriend.

I'll also try to hang out at the bar/pub more often to just mingle with people and practice those skills. The only reason I don't now is I am unemployed and the drinks I am used to are expensive haha. I'll have to man up to Miller Light.

Another good point you guys made was the fact that she wouldn't know I was a virgin unless she asked me or we got in bed. If a girl goes that far, then it would be weird on her side to say "See ya later" because of my virginity.

I live next to a major university, so at least I am not at a shortage of potential partners!

Yeah. I have been reading alot on technique. I also read alot on how to make out with a girl and when I did, the girl didn't think I was a novice when I told her before she left.

I'm not going to try to make it a big deal, though. It is just sex. I mean, it is a great thing, but I don't plan on having to demand that my first time be perfect and all that shit.

 

try hanging out with more girls, and try not to come on to them. try to get some girl "friends". basically increase your hang-out time with girls. dont try to hit on them in any way because it is plainly obvious, no matter how slick you think you are. if you hang out with girls alot and dont push anything on them, things will happen naturally. the biggest mistakes i see guys do is hit on girls that they barely know and once they are rejected they stay rejected, theres no real comeback.

 

Now, wait a sec. I'm getting confused here. Some of the other replies have indicated that I avoid the "Friend Zone" and to make clear my intentions. What do you have to provide to support your argument? (I'm not acting as serious as I sound haha).

 

If you want to fuck a woman, make it known. If you want to be her friend, don't plan on ever fucking her. Unless she breaks up with a boyfriend and happens to get drunk and sleep with you, in which case you'll have bigger problems than performance anxiety.

I just talk to girls ,get to know them,or we meet and get high,and either they ask if I want to have sex,or I just chill and let them make it known that they are interested..lol..seems that if you really don't care either way some girls will want you more or something..I dunno i guess I'm lucky with being confindent and hooking up with girls easily without even trying to,no pressure from me or anything and I truly act like I fell inside ,If she wants to hook up then cool,if not cool too,some other girl will and does,so I dunno ,it just happens for me someway,..lol..good luck dude!

i would definately say dont avoid the "friend zone". the friend zone is great practice so when you find a girl you like she will perceive you as normal, confident, friendly, open, cultured, well mannered, etc, rather than, shy, creepy, weirdo, awkward, quiet, boring, etc.

 

maybe it's just me, but i hate when my guy friends or people that i've put on the "friends" ladder try to cross into "fuck territory". it always seems so desperate and ruins the friendship. perhaps it's b/c i usually pursue men if i like them, and they wouldn't be on the "friend" ladder in the first place if i wanted to "fuck" them.
