the solution is a deep cleanse with an added ingredient or 2 to help dissolve wax.. u can do all your dreads thats fine

however if u got just a couple candle dreads..id maybe use the extreemeky hot water both before and after....like dip the dreads in water close to bioling but nit quite..careful to nt even drip any on ya..then dip in the solution squeeze it on in (dreads trap a ton of air bubbles squeezing em while in the solution will squeeze out the air and in the solution

geyt em thouroughly soaked.. and leave in long as u can stand to....rince the candlesin the superhot water then again in hot but bearable water again squeezing emj to try gettin as much clean water thru um

at least that seemns like wopuld be the most thouroygh way

    my questions are as follows..

do i completely saturate all of my dreads
izzit sea salt as opposed to the stuff you put on yer chips
do i rinse with hot water?
do i air dry them as normal
wrap 'em in a hot towel for an hour?

what do i do after.. as in.. no backcombing at all, no wax etc - but do i still palm roll them? do i just really leave them?? ignore them as it were

my main problem with this will be how they look cause i have this feeling that theyre just ganna completely die and ill be left with sections of matted hair, which wont go down too well with the parents or college (with the wax at least they look tidier)

i bought the tea tree oil today - £4 for 10ml!
and how much water do i mix up approx? - is the mixture better thin or thick

dont wanna do it wrong and lose my hair =[[

sea salt..or kosher salt regular table salt contains iodione also so not the best
    the salt is optional though
the teatree the baking soda and the orange ouil do the most work removing wax
saturate em u dont nreeed it thick
when u put the baking soda in the container anbd add watrer it foams till theres enoughj water to absorb it all
add the oils then and mix then dumo it on or dip it in
    i use about a galklon

    aftewards rince it thouroughly
1st very carefuly with very hot waret avoiding scalp n skin then with cooler water ricing whole hesad

    afterwards leave it alkone

tell your parents this. wax will cause mold it will cause smelkls it will make them sticky and gross and trap dirt
    clkean drewads will dread better
but dreads will always go through a messy period before looking good..if you cheat and try to force nearness before they form using wax wyou will only end up with a gross mess
they most likely wont fall apaert they will be fine just lil fuzzirer thats ok
    leave them alone
palkm rolling isnt needed..u can if u want but not alot it can dammage dreads although not as severely as alot of other things
best way to healthy dreads is to leave them do theyre thinbg though

if they get too wild..tame them with just a lil aloew noything else
    and not often
but u doint need even that u just need patience
if iuts a big deal to your folkis.. wear a tam alot..hidden mess is like no mess at all and the tam will help them become neat and tight faster

the less u worry the less u do the more beautifulk the y become

ohand definately not no backcombing..if ubackcomb ro start your dreads u do it once and once only then even if it falls out completely u dont do it again

dreads dont need to be backcombed to dread..although a few find it helps to get em started

some say it helps the cleanning buit i dont think so its mostly to help tighten knottiness
it helps dry any oiliness and make the hairr knot tighter
if theyre still semi loose u can just mix some with waterr before u wash..hoiurs befote and spray em then wash out lkater
its vasicly a natural version of thast crapy chemicaly (at least expensive if its just sea salt water) acceerator they sell

orange oil is the primary ingrediant in a product called dissolve it which is an industrial grade solvant, citric acid is an acid after all, the opure essential orange oil is also a primary ingrediant in natural jeewlery and metal cleaners it removes hubndreds of hyears of built up tarnich with a single dip and a light buff
the itange oil dissolves it.. the very hot water mnelts it
the rest just cleans out the dissolved and melted leftover

if it will not work as you say then please explain why everyuone who tried it says it does work?

orange oil dissolves glue..it dissolves caulking and tar if it will dissolve tar it will dissolve wax
my only fesar when suggesting it was that it might be too strong and dissolve hair too but seems to be perfectly safe on hair

well depends on the level of buildup u may need more then 1 treatment and u may want to invclude the very hot water but be very very careful with that
    u can burn yourself
if u do 1 or the other not both u will see improvemernt both togethrer doies the most..but if u dont get it all in 1st try just repeat in sa few days
mammajojo for instance used a tion, like 8 oz i think..1 good treatment did her a huge fifference but to be totaly wax free she may need 1 or even 2 more buit u can see the massive fifference 1 treatment made in her thread\
but she also had used builing water twice before the dewaxxing treatment described here..and also after i think

i think she also doubled the orange oil
but the resulrts were impressive even if not 100% (hard to tell from pics if she got it all or not)

i doubt youyd need more then 3 or 3 treatments with the orange oil thats pretty porwerful stiff
but sfter the wax is gine the deep cleanse without the orange oils great stugg overuse though can cause lil fuzziness no big deal really just lettin u know
    it gets your hair superclean
mine are tioght and mature so i csn gtawsy with deep cleanse 8 outta 10 times i wash but i usualy do it every other time (and ehen real doirty i do brinners followed by deep ckeanse followed by alow/vinagar rince
    so kinda a tripple clean
but thats overkill for young dreads

orange oil u can get at most herb stores or health food stores that cary esential oils
it dissolves the wax mnaking it alolt easier to get it out

and yea just leave it in soaking long as u can
i never wrap mine up dont got nothing that can support the weight when wet i just dump it over and wait to rince
the wrapping i think it to try keeping ad much as u can fropm just running out the ends

Wring some of the excess liquid because if you don't, once you roll it up and put a shower cap on it, all the excess will run down your face and could get into your eyes...ask me how I know  I just lightly wrung out my hair afterwards, capped it, then wrapped my head in a towel (over the cap) to catch any runoff liquid. HTH
