I added this to my original post as well:

Lighten Hair: Pour 1 quart boiling water over 1/2 cup chamomile flowers. Let it steep 30 minutes. Add the juice of 2 lemons. Have a basin ready to catch the rinse,as you will need to repeat it at least 20 times. Pour directly on clean hair as a rinse.

Much better than peroxide, and the chamomile will help soothe your dreads & scalp from the acidity of the lemon juice.

Chill chill chill. Sorry if listening to a person trained to aid with oral care now makes me a gullible believer of government conspiracies. I made a suggestion and defended peroxide and now I'm a promoter. To be fair I pointed out it wasn't herbal :[
I respect your opinions a lot, and I think what you do is awesome , but I was trying to be helpful. Nothing is wrong with showing other points of views of things so please don't talk down/judge/label to others for that, especially people who mean to harm :(

I realized I was silly for being up Sun-In here but I can't take it back now. :(
But I also won't say that Sun-In is bad either.
Yes, lemon juice is great, that I cannot deny. :D

I am being chill. Herbalism is my passion.
Dude, if you knew it wasn't natural/herbal, why post a reccommendation for it on a thread dedicated to herbal remedies? If you had posted it on a different thread, I probably wouldn't have even responded.
I didn't mean to talk down to you, nor did I judge you or label you. I just felt that your information did not belong on this thread. I'm sorry if I offended you in my response.

    I didn't think it through.
It's like the time I talked about a gay wedding...In a Christian forum... It just doesn't click until it's too late.

No worries. We all type/speak without thinking sometimes.
I really am sorry if I was harsh in my response.

An easy dandruff cure, the one in the beginning of the thread sounds complicated xD

Rosemary tea :) (dunno how many time's I've posted this xD)

Grab half a handful of rosemary (the herb, can get from any shop with a herb section ;D) Boil it up in a pan with water, maybe half a small pan full, let it simmer for 15 mins. after letting it cool, strain it and throw away the little green bits, and pour it into a little squirty bottle (can get one from boots for £1.19, its small but useful) Or just pour it over your head :)

Can wash it out, or not. I didn't wash mine out, got rid of my dandruff the next day :)

I looked through this tread and didnt see anything for itching. My dreads are only two weeks old and they get really itchy and oily two days after i wash them so ive been washing them every three days. Is there anything I can use for itching because I dont want to be washing them so often when they are so young. thanks

google natra bio homeopathic smokers withdrawl relief (or spell it corectly ..lol)
thats the bestr formula i foundf i'm maybe at day 17 or so of the 20 day formula lost track and keep forgetting to take it
id get 2 boxes though what i did was 2 days b4 the day i chose to quite id take 1 afdter my last smoke of the night then in the motake another (bite the pill once till it breakes in 1/2 or smaller chunks with tongue manuvear the chunks underneath your tongue and alopw to diossolve completely there, dont eat drink or smoke anhything 15 min b4 or after taking) the 1st day i went till 2 in the afternoon then a celbration smoke even tho wasnt craving (just had 1/2 pack left) smoked the rest of ther night then repeat 2nd day had 3 cigs left so took a couple doses extending till after dinner then smoked the last few took the dose b4 bed, then weas committed to making it through the day
1str day smoke free i maybe took 6 or 8 even recomended is 3 a day or as needed. it wasnt hartd at alkl cravings vannished the instant the last bit disolves under your tonge
adftert u make it through a day its easy u may still need more then 3 a day the 1st week but i found ot was more to help the healing (bring up all thyge buildt up crap in my lungs) then to combat cravings
after a week you should be down to 3 or 4 a day but its perfectly safe to take more
by dayt 15 u probly will need to remindf yourself to take em but u should continuer wether u feel u needto or not for the full 20 days
its so ez and its amazing how quickly your lungs recover this way
my dr was amazed how good my lungs sounded after just a week into it

Aloe vera gel or juice applied directly to the scalp would work, and so would a rosemary tea rinse. Or you can try applying tea tree essential oil directly on your scalp.

    Cradle cap remedy:
Pour 1 pint of boiling water over 1/2 cup calendula and 1/2 cup chamomile flowers. Let it steep 30 minutes. Strain and use as a rinse after shampooing. Also, be sure to drink lots of water to keep your system flushed of toxins.

    Psoriasis treatements:
Apply aloe vera or oil of avacado directly to the affected areas.

Place 1 cup of burdock root in 1 pint of water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and apply to the affected area several times a day.

Major Flakage going on... silly me has been picking away... Parts are soft and gooey but once everything dries it is just a snow storm.

Deep cleansed my hair tonight.. Rosemary the morn.. then on saturday again.. It may be too much washing but my scalp needs to be in respectable nick for this awards ceremony (dont want my suit covered) :S

The rosemary tea does certainly help. I am going to try it oer a period of time to see if it treats the problem.

    Mould & Mildew remedies:

Dry your dreads in the sun as often as possible.

Add 1 cup of thyme to 1 quart of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and let it cool. Use as a rinse/soak for your dreads.

Mix 1/4 cup water with 1/2 cup white vinegar and a few drops of tea tree and lavender essential oils in a spray bottle. Spray on your dreads-do not rinse out! The vinegar smell will dissappear as it evaporates.
