Is that a Monkey ? Did someone bring a pet Monkey in here. Wait where did it go ? I think I need just black coffee. I thought I just saw a Monkey running around in here. Rough night. The Monkey was kinda cute. Peace
bleuurgh Quorn...its like some mould stuff grown in chemical vats. It makes me spew, but then i do have a really sensitive digestion. Barely anything i can bloody eat Hungry now but cant decide what to have
I have a fear of non organic tofu...literally i go into shakes, i think its going to bring me out in a rash or make me sick or mutate my DNA or some shit, i dont know. Im just crazy We dont have it very often these days, although had some nice tofu sausages with our casserole last night. Am i oing on a bit? Ill have a tropical fruit smoothie pleez
I never used to like tofu but you have to get it flavoured right. Still though we barely have it seeing as the organic stuffs like 3 quid for a little block or a few sausages or whatever I like my fruit and veggies mostly
I like fruit and veg, especially vegetables, in the first few months of vegetarianism I suddenly realised how awesome vegtables were. However, I'm still persuading my mum that i don't need protein at every single meal.
You get protein at every single meal hehe. Know what you mean though I remember way back when i was about 13 discovering vegetables after realising i didnt want to go along to KFC every night with my family...Favourite meal is still probably just a giant stirfry with as much as possible in...thats all i could make back then
Come to think of it, i think that was around the time i ate my first ever bell pepper and simple things like red potatoes, sweet potatoes and beans Pretty crazy really
You probably get more than enough protein, particularly if you still have dairy... a variety of nuts, seeds and pulses will give you all the proteins you need
Jons right, but then theres no surprise I eat surprisingly little of what people consider high protein foods but i do have regular blood tests and all come up fine Im a bit of a gatherer and a nibbler...odd piece of fruit, few seeds and nuts here and there, plenty of leaves and grains and a few pulses...then we have dinner which usually includes something like chickpeas, lentils, rice, quinoa, tofu, that kind of stuff But its only small I think for a lot of people ts important to transition though. I was pescatarian for a year or so before becoming vegan I wonder why J0hns accounts being funny...well, according to his profile anyway
I don't like a lot of the quorn things, but tofu is lovely, especially in a stir fry. Linda McCartney isn't bad either.
