I am glad to hear it. Most of the sources of new in the US, including CNN ect, talk about continued segregation in South Africa. I made the comment (sorry if it was a bit snotty) refering to the fact that before the abolision of Aparthid, many whites in SA denied it Aparthid was a problem, and I know that often things are slow to change. Plus, the news sources I see saw similar things.

I don't live there, I have never been there, and only know what I read in newspapers (usually the Chicago Tribune) or hear on National Public Radio, or see on the news, or even sources like Mother Jones or Rolling Stone ect) but, even good sources can be wrong. Sorry.

I'll do some more resarch.

 

Cool maggie - one more thing we are really struggling with now (well one of the many things, really) is Land reform and high unemployment figures but all people are affected by the latter, not only blacks.

We've a long way to go but I think we're on the right track. Now if only we could do something about the terrible crime rate....

Better start doing something about it right now - you will be host of the World Soccer Championship in 2010, and it wont be good publicity for your country if all your guests return home completely robbed :X

 

I heard they will start MASS-PRODUCTION of that stuff in China now. Some time ago this would have upset me very much, nowadays I know there are other dangers too when dating women which are even much more harmfull, so its not top on my list so to say. But what about other guys here, anyone gonna protest against it ?

 

I think this Rapex is a dangerous idea, because it targets the symptom, not the problem. The symptom is rape...the problem is anger, aggression, the will to hurt another. Even if Rapex managed to eradicate all rape in the world, the symptom would manifest itself some other way.
