b/c it was the only that shithole known as russia was ever a superpower, it was a magnetic pole and US was teh other...throughout the rest of history russia was a big farm no one took seriously
Almost all of Europe is Socialist, but that has almost nothing to do with Marxism. Marxism is just a type of socialism, socialism is so much more broad than that. All European socialistic governments are based on Laiz-Fare capitalistic ideas. Read Locke.
How was it a superpower? The ducation was suffering. People were starving on the streets. All buisnesses closed. There was no health system. There were no jobs. But...yes, we did have a whole lot of nukes. Having weapons might make you a threat, but that does not make you a prosperous country, and especially does not make you enter a golden age. Those were some of Russia's toughest times. And you do recall that they lost the cold war, right?
no health system (thats one of the few things they had dumass)...if their asshole dictators hadnt spent all their funds on guns maybe peoiple wouldve had food, thats bad leadership not economic principle
You are a lost case. To quote Wikipedia... " In Marxist theory, it also refers to the society that would succeed capitalism, and in some cases develop further into communism. Marxism and communism are both very specific branches of socialism. The two do not represent socialism as a whole." Now... as Elliot would say... "Hush child"
No, no health system... and bad leadership leads to economic problems...which are defenatly not a key characteristic of a golden age.
yes they lost the war, via suicide, a string of bad leaders, and if u recall they didnt collapse they put in power a socialist in charge of a communist country, gorbachev, if u consider going from communism to socialism a win 4 u then its definately a win 4 me as a socialist
Suicide? They were lucky they lost... or it would have collapsed the economy. Gorbachev ran under communist platforma. "if u consider going from communism to socialism a win 4 u then its definately a win 4 me as a socialist" What?
they had a health care system, for the only time in history they kidnapped doctors from ukrane along with many other thigns they kidnapped from ukrane, and forced them to supply the demand in moscow, read chomsky essay "common misconceptions" they had pretty good health care for russia
there was no one left to kidnap from Ukraine, Stalin killed all the professionals. No they did not. You have already shown to be an idiot who thinks that Marxism came before Socialism. Give up.
i am a socialist they went to socialism under gorbachev when communism fell therefore communisms collapse was a win 4 me
that sites wrong ask anyone with a brain. marx's book (those pihilsophies called marxism came b4 socialism
LOL!!!!!!!! I give up on you, you are hopeless. I recommend reading up on history. http://www.google.hn/search?hl=es&q=socialism&lr= there you go...enter any of the first websites. Now, i've had enough of arguing with idiots. Cheers.
did u even read u own link? "Since Marx's death in 1883, various groups around the world have appealed to Marxism as the intellectual basis for their politics and policies, which can be dramatically different and conflicting. One of the first major splits occurred between the advocates of social democracy, who argued that the transition to socialism could occur within a democratic framework, and communists, who argued that the transition to a socialist society required a revolution. Social democracy emerged within the Social Democratic Party of Germany, and caused it to abandon its Marxist roots by increments, while communism resulted in the formation of various communist parties." click ur link to marxism
