I saved a Kitten in Basra....almost got killed doing it.

I pulled a few strings and now that cat in a member of my Team's little girls.

Strays sometimes make the best pets.

Might try to watch the movie Gravity on the movie channel tonight .... never saw it, and my brother told me it was great with a wonderful ending with a good message. I never saw this movie before......

 

I watched Gravity....I liked it and in some parts I found it OK...but overall...a good movie.

Sandra B.had to really get in shape to do a lot of the stunts and I could see it in her body as her curves turned into straight lines of muscle.

I did watch it late.....Very interesting....nothing like I expected.......a love story of sorts, too, but sad in that respect. I am not sure what my brother wants to talk to me about the ending for. It seemed pretty basic to me...I will find out. Maybe he saw something deeper.....It was a good movie.....simplisitic, almost....but it is giving me much thought.....and great visuals....the waltz in space.

I've been wanting to see this movie for a long while now. I put the DVD on hold at my local library, but 200 other people beat me to it! Shale wrote a really good review: It's in the New Movies section.

I was trying to think of another movie to watch here, but I don't know what...Have that channel here where you can see any program you missed on regular tv and then one for so many moives, that have already been out......

Want to see Jersey Boys, but that is still in theaters here, so cannot get it on the tv yet.

Started raining here pretty heavily. Air has just lightened up. Air was was so heavy before.....probably making me tired.....

 

It's been raining heavily here too, all day, all night....for days now.

 

Right after I posted that last thing I said here....our power got knocked out. I heard some wires came down on the main road. It was a torrential down pour for a little while. Now the sun is back out and power just came back on. I never lived in a place before that seems to lose power with every storm.......usually it is not for this long, as it was today, though.
