Anyway, since my mom's death last year and terrible fall things kind of went to shit around here....but I will be getting back on track.....as I am starting to feel more like myself again.....borrowing no more bad, sad news for awhile that is....
I have not dressed up really since my mom died. I did not care to...and with broken shoulder....that is all better now, I did not give a shit.

Hi, Piaf. It is beige, as the ole rule is never wear white to someone else's wedding, unless they ask you to. It has a matching jacket that buttons with big rhinestone buttons, which I had off in these photos, as it got hot dancing there.....so with the jacket, it is of course, dressier.....It is Oscar de la Renta....

I don't really care about if something is designer or not....but this happens to be.
My favorite things here are the simplest white dresses. I think we discussed that before...

Interesting little factoid about WWII

On October 5, 1942 the FBI arrested 84 blacks throughout the country and charged them with sedition, pro-Japanese activities, and draft dodging. The most notable was Elijah Poole aka Elijah Mohammed the future leader of the Nation of Islam, who was discovered, rolled up in a carpet in his mother’s bedroom.

Elijah Poole and his followers allied themselves with the Japanese Black Dragon Society in the belief that after their yellow brothers defeated the white man, they would assume positions of power throughout America. At the time of Pearl Harbor the Black Dragon Society had 50,000 hardcore members, not organized, but ready to fight.

visiting my friend a day or two after independence day. just some of the activities planned...shooting guns, atv riding, fireworks, and lots of beer drinking.

Some of those moths that were beating on my windows the other night were still on the outside screen the next day.....There was a huge luna moth....the green kind I showed in strange visitors in pets section once and then another monstrous, fat brown moth......the size of that one was unreal.....

 

raining here......maybe it will stop for me to get dogs out for a little while......It is not raining heavily yet......

 

I ws looking at funny hack photos yesterday too...as long as no one hacks me, I am fine with it......:2thumbsup:
