one of my friends is 87 today

 

Happy birthday to them!

 

A friend committed suicide yesterday. He drove up to the pass which about 70 miles and jumped off a bridge. There are two bridges up there and i don't know which one...but its fucked up. I hadn't seen him in many months but he was never one you would ever think. Some deep demons must have been in his head. The situation right now is totally fucked up. Its really sad because he was he was always a happy positive person...may have been in denial for a long time...i don't know. I'm not sad because he choose that path, im fucking angry. He my cousins best friend, she is just wrecked...

Its one of those situations where you are in complete disarray, you don't know what to say, what to do, or what to think.

This is the 2nd person i've personally know who has committed suicide and each time it gets weirder and weirder.

One of my neighbors i didn't know well at all did the same thing few years ago. Each person has not mentioned anything to anyone, they just wanted to disappear....

 

in around 2009 about thirty teenagers hung themselves in an area of wales called bridgend. it is part of the vale where i live and i knew five of these people.

it made the national news at the time because it all happened over a small period of time, it was some facebook memorial bullshit that pushed people to play god with their lives.

as they say 'yesterdays news is tomorrows chip papers'. it sounds horrible, but people who commit suicide need to understand just how redundant the act is itself, rather than the life they can continue to live. of course, many of these victims were subject to attention seeking - it was a classic case of herding.

but alas, if life was too hard and your friend had to put his feelings first and foremost i think that's kind of fair enough. i mean to continue, to save the feelings of others, means you are subject to a similar hell perhaps as the person that could instead be mourning your loss.

This is the first time I've ever used that loop, and I've had this belt for years!!

My pants are all too big now though.

Last year at this time I couldn't even button the top up, I just zipped them as far as I could and folded the top part in, lol.

I may be down to a 30 or 32 now, IDK. Time to buy some new jeans!

I drove to the park this morning at 5:30 and no one was there. It was really peaceful.

edit: wait, did I win?
