Years ago I was driving down the freeway when the lug bolts on my left rear car tire snapped off and I lost the entire wheel at 70 mph. I ended up spinning 360 degrees and coming to a stop - upright, facing in the correct direction, on the far right shoulder. My wheel/tire assembly kept rolling a bit farther. Luckily there were no other cars around when it happened - coulda been a lot worse.
