I have to start curing 5 large salmon filets tomorrow to make gravlax appetizers for 200 ppl on Saturday. yippy

 

well if you were standing outside here you'd be half the size of a bic lighter

 

i took another nap today. slept through almost entire beavis and butthead dvd.. energized now

 

im pretty sure im a have a cup of tea......

 

Tomorrow I make Banket, a very tasty Dutch pastry made with an almond paste filling. I only make it at Christmas, don't know why but that's the way my Grandma did it.

Next year if I still have my green thumb I'll make 2 batch's one regular and one with cannabutter for a few specail friends.

 

im just glad the holday falls on a weekend.. then everyone can be back to normal come monday.. shouldnt be none that hangover bs either ..

 

random fact...I used a smaller version of this pic as an avatar once on another forum...I had even taken the time to animate his arms so it looked like he was digging

 

i saw some geese the other day eating grass off the bottom of the pond.. belly white i thought it was some egrets or something at first

Have you ever had ostrich meat? It's pretty good. Can be a trifle chewy though.
