My son when he started school came home one day and asked me how you milk a chicken as lait de poule was on his word list to memorize.

He did not connect egg nog to the word. It was really funny to explain it to him.

sounds relaxing is your house big? you always talk about the wood stove you have. I always pitcher it to be big. my grandparents live out in the woods. they have a nice fire place. so dose my aunt she has this huge house in the woods, it's a log cabin

I'm going to my cousin's birthday party today and he asked everyone not to get any gifts. It's so nice not having to frantically rush around trying to find a present for him.

No marijuana does not show up in an mri. I have had several mri's and they only show the inside of your body. They are not testing you for anything during this test. In order to find weed in your system you have to be tested for it either through your urine, blood, or hair

I have a MRI every month and they are a snap. Just lie there and let the machine do the work.

They are not looking for you having cannabis.

If you are so concerned about medical personnel knowing you enjoy cannabis, stop using it.

Jen, I'm saying this in a polite way and I'm not meaning to pry.

Eventually you're going to have to get blood work done. Most people get blood work done every once in awhile, whether it be if they have mono, perhaps an infection, etc.

Cannabis can stay in the bloodstream for sometimes up to 6 weeks in some people, perhaps longer.

You could either book a test months in advance, unless of course you come down with something and need to get in as quickly as possible. Or you could tell your doctor(s) that you use cannabis.

They will not tell anyone else, including your family, they will not incarcerate you, and they will not judge or condemn you. They are professionals who care about the health and well-being of people, nothing less, nothing more. To them it is a job and they're there to treat and help, not judge and condemn.

It will be more than helpful for them to know what you do with your body, as it is for everyone's doctor to know these things.

Years ago I thought I had developed asthma, my doctor asked me if I smoke cigarettes or cannabis. I said, "Not weed, but I smoke cigarettes." (At the time I only smoked weed about twice a year, if that.)

His exact words were, "Is there anything I can tell you that would make you consider quitting?"

I was a typical teenager and responded simply, "No."

He did not tell me to quit nor did he tell me that it was a disgusting habit. He simply asked if he could help.

Doctors just want to help people, they need to know these things in order to do their job.

No, I just meant that it's likely that you'll eventually have a blood test for something, in general.

Cannabis shows up in all blood tests. Some blood tests look for specific things, such as vitamin deficiency, others for iron, etc.

But if a drug, alcohol, nicotine, cannabis etc. is in your blood, it will show up on any simple blood test.
