I don't know to be honest. I'm pretty sure nothing would/will show up, but I've never had an MRI nor heard the results of a stoner who got one.

Maybe just play it safe and save your weed for tomorrow night or something.

MRI's don't just scan muscle tissue - if that were true, it would be useless for brain scans. And there's no way weed use would show up on an MRI scan. I dunno where you found that info you cited, but it sounds like somebody was having some fun at others' expense. MRI is for looking at physical structures, and can also be used to check brain function.

I had one done once, a few years ago. They said my brain was normal, so obviously the test is useless.

 

jennifer...what the hell are actually afraid of?...if you really want to know what is the matter with you.then you cannot lie about weed to the doctors...they need to know what you are doing or you will never get better...i cant believe you are worried about finding weed usage on a test of any kind...either be honest or stop complaining because it will be YOUR fault...honest to christ..you are constantly hiding your drug habit from the only people that can actually help...grow up..you are nearly 30,not 13

I stayed home yesterday. Too damn much ice.

My wife tried to roll her car onto the driveway from the island yesterday, and ran right into a snowbank instead. So now: She's using MY car. Typical.

After I gave her hell yesterday, she spent an hour trying to dig away at the snowbank to allow the car to roll forward, but it wasn't enough. My bet is: Either I will have to dig it out myself, or else it will be there until the spring thaw. And in the meantime she'll trash my car with garbage and rotting food, and if I complain, she'll have some flimsy excuse for why she couldn't clean her junk out. She can do no wrong, you see.

 

This is what I was thinking too, but didn't say...the doctors need to know what you're doing with your body if they're gonna figure out how to help. :2thumbsup:

From my viewpoint, if I let her get away with all her shit, she'll just keep doing it. She's not trying to "break" me - she's not THAT dumb. She's just very unaware of the kinds of crap she's pulling - cuz nobody has ever called her on it.

I'm supportive of her career and personal goals. She asks me to read all her school papers and important letters and offer suggestions, and I do - and am encouraging, and point out her strengths - and her weaknesses in a way that encourages her to find better ways. I hug her when she needs a hug.

And when she does something particularly dumb like this - well, I'll probably end up shoveling her out, but I want her to at least understand why this was not a smart move on her part, and to see how much trouble results from it.

My first wife was a LOT more reasonable and rational...I guess that lulled me into complacency about women. I have gotten an education since then. I guess that's a good thing...

Bottom line: Maybe I don't have a viewpoint. But I also don't hafta do whatever she insists on, no matter how much she gets in my face.

 

That stuff about "the woman is always right" etc. etc. is bullshit. Men who aren't pussies say and do what they feel is right. Guys who are afraid their wife will withhold sex, not make them meals, or won't do their laundry for them are the "I don't have an opinion, the wife is always right," types.
