You must have to fill it up alot to keep the level not too low or too high.

When I filled the tank I used a 5 gallon gas can and I accidentally missed because it was dark and spilled gas all over my hand. It takes forever to get the smell of gas off skin.

Good idea. My grandfather always used that soap and he would sometimes stick his hand into the tank of his jeep to measure the gas level. So it must have worked for him too.
