Nice job! You can get thinner for polish if you really love the shade and can't replace it.
I broke two nails today :-(

 

It is a dull, dingy day that shows no promise of the rain going away. Good time to curl up with a book or take a nap. Maybe both are in order.

 

Gray day here... supposed to get storms but I'm watching them roll off to the south of here.




And the sun just came out... but only for a little bit.

 

everytime a storm runs up the east coast we get a good counterclockwise storm front that sticks around for days

last night had some good lightning

 

Thank you....It was a good job being the stuff was thick and I almost had to dot it on.....lol,,,,but there was not much left of it anyway.....so I basically threw away an almost empty bottle......but thank you for the tip about the thinner...
I think I will try Chanel's red nail polish next, but have to go to the mall for that.....and I never seem to go there that often.
I cannot even remember the last time I polished my nails......so it was almost a new experience all over again.....

 

That storm hasn't hit... Yet.

 

Speaking of storms....there is a major one going on right here this very moment....

 

Holy shit..the skies are angry...did you hear that?....you should have...I guess I better shut off this machine and all of the elctricity around here, as I think my power will be knocked out any minute, anyway....see you later, I hope.....lol

No problems. I polish up a lot and have many nail polishes. One of the best reds is China Glaze Ruby Pumps and is much cheaper than Chanel.

 

Storm has passed through...as quickly as it came.....looks like I can get the dogs out there for a mile or two...This month has sucked for getting the dogs out on a regular basis so far....

 

That was probably the storm that missed me... Or get ready for another. We send them all your way.

 

I will send them back......do not underestimate me....LOL

 

The weather guys say that's impossible... But I've seen it happen.

 

Here in UK, we have had a great summer so far...and its about time!

 

I heard some thunder just now and looked out the window/saw a dark cloud in the distance.

Seems to be moving away..

Wait, I almost forgot.. It's the monsoon season.

It'll come back after I go to bed and dust up my truck, then sprinkle on it enough to make the dust stick.

And then make it super humid tomorrow.

Last week I looked more carefully than usual at my check stub, and discovered I have gotten a little raise.

Nobody at any point at this place has said a word nor a thing about when and/or why we may get raises. There is one lady at work just a few years younger than me that I'm work-friends with and she had the same thing...an unexpected little .15 raise.

I'm not complaining...but I'm saying I'm a dumb ass because after I looked furthur, I found I had the raise the week before.

Tomorrow I get paid...is why I was thinking about the surprise raise.

Isn't that strange? That they would give a raise and not even tell anybody?

 

when I worked at mcdonalds, the raises were automatic at certain periods of time depending on your performance. i think it was either 5, 10, or 15 cents depending on how you did. i got a whole 25 cents when i was promoted to crew trainer... haha.
