and to others..I was kind of joking about the lungs..I do know i have had major exposure to asbestos 20 years ago though so its always in my mind

 

Have you ever considered performing as a fire-eater? Your lungs would be well-protected!

(As I was typing that I had a fit of coughing - serves me right )

 

I did too, 25+ years ago. Besides the asbestos it was an old coal furnace and duct work so loaded with coal soot. I figured I'd be dead by now... No such luck.

a lot of old house wiring is actually insulated with tar and asbestos

 

There's some of that tar and asbestos wire still in this house.

it's no worry if you dont take it in the bush and burn it and then chuck it in your trunk (hatchback) still smouldering ...going full speed with the windows down while a helicopter does circles above you
