I remember seeing the scuzz come in on Port Dalhousie

 

I'm thankful I don't have to watch the grandkids tomorrow or Friday...The little one by herself isn't so bad, but when I have both its a madhouse here...

 

we've installed carpet in some ridiculously huge houses in Oakville. if you're looking to see some rich assholes, take a drive up Guelph line in Burlington, I think it's like 5 mins north of dundas street/highway 5. little community of mini-mansions called 'The Bluffs'. we did carpet in a guys basement there, $12,000+.

 

I live right on the lake and always think it would be nice to swim in, until I look across the water to the steel mills haha

 

most beaches on lake ontario were safe and open to swimming ALL of last summer....and where do you think the bottled water from coca cola[dasani] comes from?....and the water in your taps in burlington?...from lake ontario my eggy bro

 

Good ol Hamilton. I remember driving past there as a kid and the smell.......

 

yeah but when I drink it, it's been through a treatment plant. the beach in Burlington is often closed due to water quality, from what I've seen.

 

i agree with bbad...outside my town is foley mountain...it is the top of the watershed in that particular area.....you can drink the water straight out of the lake

 

yeah..im near the north/south watershed so I get all the clean lakes lol

i swam less than 1k from pickering nuclear plant on an open beach...it is a popular sail boarding spot......in toronto you see swimmers almost all the time at the beaches
