Finally Just When I Had About 5 min's To Go, It Broke A Drive Belt....

I'm loving my work right now - it's just a pain getting here - 1-1/2 hours each way.

One time my two sisters went out to a bar together and met some guys and pretended to be from Norway the entire evening.

After wiping out his car the night before last while driving drunk, my stepson has shown no inclination to speak to me - wouldn't even show his face when he came home last night, just went straight to his room.

I went to his facebook page and found out he had broken up with his girlfriend Friday. So at the bottom of all his friends' comments, I just posted, "Please take care of yourself."

I'm hoping this might help him talk to me.

 

I dug out an old hard drive out of the cupboard and found some of my old music I was working on before all the shyt caved in around here, there's some stuff I'd almost forgotten about on there... Transferred it to my "new" (ish) main DAW system just now.

Went down to the basement and recovered an install CD for Cakewalk GT Pro and washed dried mud off it... Gonna need that to recover some of that music properly.

It was really nice and sunny earlier...i went out for lunch and ate it at my favourite park bench at the lake...they dont plow the pathway though so it felt like i was sitting on a bench designed for midgets

there was lots of people skating on skate path and a few snowmachines buzzed by...there was one kid having a blast on a dirt bike and i seen a few people ice fishing

 

Thanks Josh. My wife can't get him to talk to her...but he's generally more likely to talk to me, cuz I listen more than I talk and I try to see things from his viewpoint and I don't badger him. But he hasn't talked to me much lately.

Funny thing is, my stepson's car looked about like that in the pic my wife took of it - on its side, with the front bumper sheered off and blocking the windshield. I figure he must have gone up the embankment on the side of the road and hit a tree that sheered off the bumper and sent the car back toward the road, spinning on its side. He probably passed out from all the alcohol right before that.

AND he was only about a block away from home when he did it.

AND: The cops have declined to charge him with anything. I hope he uses this amazing opportunity to straighten out his act.
