More trees today...

 

Another nice sunny fall day...

Sometimes I think I have too many trees in my yard... This time of year when I have to rake them up...

 

Didn't Ann Landers die?

 

A guy my husband knows and his dad, was cutting a tree down for firewood, and it got stuck against another tree, his dad took a loader and tried to knock it loose, a dead treetop fell out of the tree and killed him... Happened a little over a week ago...

So be careful Tysonswood...

 

I'm being careful... Thank you. I've heard of many accidents like that. When you live out "in the woods" just about everybody knows of somebody that had a bad accident. It was the same out in the Sierra foothills where I used to live.

I saved a snail from being crushed this morning. I feel I've achieved something in my day.

 

I have no idea...oooh creepy...maybe I was going to channel Ann Landers! Eeeeeek!!!

 

I must have missed a car accident by minutes yesterday afternoon. I always go to the cemetery around 4 pm to walk Grace (dog). When we got parked and out of the car a police car with sirens went down the road we just came off.

We took our usual walk and when we drove back to the entrance there was a car on its roof about a football field up the road. There were at least two fire trucks and several police cars around and they were not letting anyone up or down the road we had used to get to the cemetery. I had to take the long way back to get home but wondered how close I had come to being involved in that accident.

This morning we went to a park for our walk and there was a policeman patrolling around. I asked him what happened. He told me he was off duty at the time of the accident yesterday but apparently some guy hit another guy's car farther up the street and kept going. The second guy chased the first guy down the street and the first guy hit something else and rolled over. I wonder if he learned anything from leaving the scene of an accident.

I am glad I was out of the way, in the cemetery, when they both came racing down the street. (Main street in town.) Crazy.

 

I dont think chasing someone that hit and runs you is a good idea.. pursuing from a safe distance yes. but dont be giving chase like you're batman running from a wiener dog and shit. it only endangers yourself, and others..

 

I totally agree. I would think they were both in trouble. I am just very glad I was not there because it could not have been more than 2 minutes from me being there and the police car going to the accident. Maybe even less than that.

 

yes, the pursuing dude could of taking your life over his pos car.. but youre safe now, thats all that matters.
