Why don't you have heat again? I think you said it was because of a feud with the hydro company?

A flood in 2011 took out everything in the basement... Furnace and hot water tank were down there. (plus 1/2 of my music studio, my workshop, most of my tools, yada yada)

There is also a "feud", if you want to call it that, with the gas company for stealing $300 of over paid bills... (they didn't refund me, they sent it to the state of Ohio instead)

Funny thing about that... First of all, no I didn't have flood insurance. Second, flood insurance would not have covered anything unless it compromised the first floor +8 inches deep. Doesn't matter that I had 6 feet of water in my basement. Third if I had made a claim on my regular home owners insurance they would have said "Thanks for letting us know" and raised my rates without covering anything.

Then of course there's FEMA.... If I had contacted them as the local rep was screaming about, they would have said "Thanks for letting us know, now you must go out and buy flood insurance"... See above ^^^

    Too much partying, Jen.

rf: My bedroom is the coldest room in the house. Of course, I like to have the wind machine blowing on me all winter. So I hafta wear about three to four layers of clothing and cover myself with blankets.

My teeth are now clean again. No more poisonous bites for a while, until I can build up the layers of deadly bacteria again...

I love sleeping in a cold room under a mountain of blankets. It's the best!

So my sister is out of the psych ward now. She is seeing an acupuncturist, a psychologist, a hypnotist, and she is on insane doses of Effexor and Seroquel. It annoys me. It feels like she is doing everything in her power to pass on responsibility to someone else. She doesn't seem to understand that she is the one that can help herself.
