Its friday night and i got nothing to do

 

My daughter was putting oil in her car, saying something about she didn't get the high mileage oil change last time and the guy told her that if she didn't get the high mileage oil change then blah, blah, blah...

I just wondered what the hell that was all about.

 

Scary.... Neither do I.

 

I'm going to go to the grocery store. It's a "have to" trip. I've eaten everything I can trying to avoid it, but I don't like cat food.

 

I bet the guy sells muffler bearings as well...

Be good children, I'm going out to try this coffee stout that some friends and I have been brewing for the last month and a half. I'm trying really hard not to get drunk. I swore off alcohol on sunday because I had the worse hangover in the world.

On the train home now, where I will find a bottle of zinfandel, a comfortable bed and wind machine, and a dvd.

I brought my office laptop home with me. I'm hoping to get about 24 hours of work in on my app development project. Home is the only place I can get the time to do this.

I do know, libra. I like drinking with people for the same reason. Of course I'm not really alone when I'm drinking, cuz Deanna is always with me, and she's usually pretty fun.

 

I have to brag about my dog for a second.

There is another dog in our class that is very timid and had a horrible history of abuse-both from other dogs and people. She is definitely afraid of my Sylus.

Well, tonight, she had a bit of an episode and Sylus started going nuts like he wanted to go over there...we kept pulling him back and holding him back...well, the instructor wanted to use him as an "example" for a minute and he got away from her and went straight for that scared dog.

Wanna know what he did? While she was shaking and going crazy, not letting anyone touch her, he pushed her down on her back and started licking her neck and chest. Then, he nuzzled his face up to hers...calmed her down instantly.

Guess my dog isn't that big of an asshole after all!
