I'm fine. It was just a fender bender. It was dark and I wanted to let someone through to make a left hand turn so I looked back and there was no one there so I backed up, but there was someone behind me that I didn't see. My trailer hitch went into his license plate. It was pretty minor, but the guy I hit was pissed off big time. Everything's O.K. though. Thanks for the concern.

    Origin and production

White chocolate first appeared in Switzerland in the 1930s. It was invented by Nestlé in order to utilize excess cocoa butter. It was first popularly distributed in America in 1948 with the introduction of Nestlé's Alpine White Chocolate bar, which contained white chocolate and almonds.[2]

White chocolate is made of cocoa butter, milk, and sugar. Most often, the cocoa butter is deodorized to remove its strong and undesirable taste that would hurt the flavor of the finished chocolate.[3] Regulations also govern what may be marketed as "white chocolate": In the United States, since 2004, white chocolate must be at least 20% cocoa butter (by weight), at least 14% total milk solids, at least 3.5% milk fat, and less than 55% sugar or other sweeteners[4]. Before this date, U.S. firms required temporary marketing permits to sell white chocolate. The European Union has adopted the same standards, except that there is no limit on sugar or sweeteners.[5] Although white chocolate is made the same way as milk chocolate and dark chocolate, the ingredients are different. Because of the ingredients, many people do not consider "white chocolate" to be chocolate at all, but in most cases, it does contain cocoa butter: a product that, like many cocoa solids, is derived from the cacao bean. However, some preparations (known as confectioner's coating or summer coating) are made from inexpensive solid or hydrogenated vegetable and animal fats, and as such, is not at all derived from cocoa. These preparations may actually be white in color (in contrast to white chocolate's ivory shade[3]) and will lack cocoa butter's flavor.
Because it does not contain cocoa solids, one benefit of white chocolate is that it contains only traces of theobromine, which means it can be consumed by individuals who must avoid theobromine for medical reasons. Theobromine is found in the cocoa solids and other ingredients of chocolate that give it the characteristic brown color. In contrast to white chocolate, dark chocolate contains the largest amount of theobromine, because it contains the largest amount of cocoa solids.[6]

Hockey dads held in hotel brawl

Police call men at bar "obnoxious'

    By Jay Tokasz

Instead of watching their sons play in a prestigious youth hockey tournament, three Ontario men spent Saturday in Erie County Holding Center, charged with participating in an alcohol-fueled brawl at a Grand Island hotel.

Erie County sheriff's deputies responding to a 2:24 a.m. disturbance call Saturday in the lounge of the Holiday Inn Grand Island Resort Conference Center said they encountered a "bar full of belligerent, obnoxious, intoxicated Ontario men visiting the hotel while in the area for a kids hockey tournament," according to a news release.
Deputies said they were immediately attacked by a group of men and had to call U.S. Border Patrol officers and Town of Tonawanda police for backup.
Charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration were Jayson G. Stevenson, 38, Dennis H. Heinz, 39, and Rico H. Razaly, 39, all of Cobourg, Ont.
Stevenson also was charged with two counts of assault on a police officer after Deputy Jordan Grabar suffered minor injuries during the fracas and arrests.
Heinz additionally was charged with public lewdness; deputies said he had pulled his pants down at the bar.
The three men were still being held in the Holding Center on Saturday evening.
They were supposed to be visiting Western New York for the 38th annual Shootout Classic, a youth hockey tournament that draws teams from more than a dozen states and Canada.
"That's got to be one of the worst hangovers they'll ever experience," said Bob Harrington, tournament director.
The well-regarded tournament, started in 1971 by Gene Harrington as a way to foster friendlier relations between American and Canadian hockey players, was being held Friday through today in four ice rinks in Niagara and Erie counties.
"I feel bad for those fathers' boys, who have to accept the embarrassment," said Bob Harrington.
The men arrested had 15-year-old boys playing in the minor midget division. It was the first time a team from Cobourg, which is about 75 miles east of Toronto, on the Lake Ontario shore, was participating in the tournament, said Harrington.
"I can certainly tell you Cobourg won't be invited back," he said. "I plan on calling the Ontario Hockey Association and reporting this to them."
About 50 teams of kids in various age groups were participating in the tourney. Half of the teams are from Canada.
"This has never happened before. The Canadian people are exceptional," Harrington said.
It's unclear what caused the melee at the hotel.
Hotel security initially intervened at the bar before the Sheriff's Office was called, said Scott Zeplowitz, general manager.
The hotel did not receive complaints from other guests in the hotel regarding the early morning ruckus, he said.
Zeplowitz, who is himself a youth hockey coach, said the hotel frequently hosts families traveling to the area for hockey events — usually without incident.
"We have visitors for just about every hockey tournament that comes to Buffalo," he said

    Wow, that's retarded.

I moved to my new place yesterday. Things went good, nothing broken, nothing lost. The only thing that pisses me off is that I forgot my spices and contact lens at my old place. That's no big deal though, I can go pick them up tomorrow after work. My cat is doing well also, I was a bit nervous about how he would react to such a big change but everything seems to be fine. He was afraid during the ride from point A to point B and didn't enjoy the transport cage much, other than that he's doing good. He's exploring his new place and all. :D
