I don't have any plans maybe do a little house cleaning after my morning bicycle ride...I think I've taken off a few pound since I've been riding...:)

Sounds like hypoglycemia - I found out in college that I had that. I would drink coffee with two heaping spoonfuls of sugar, get to class, and then feel like I was going to black out. I'd get headaches from eating sugary stuff on an empty stomach. When I started drinking my coffee black and avoiding sugar, the blackout feelings and headaches went away.

If you're hypoglycemic, any sudden increase in blood sugar triggers your insulin, and the insulin makes your body suck up the sugar and makes your blood sugar level plummet.

White bread, white rice, and especially potatoes turn to sugar in your mouth. Whole grains are better. Protein and fat are like time-release sugar - they metabolize slowly, and keep your blood sugar levels up without triggering your insulin.

Any other issues, you bring them right here to Old Doc Zengizmo. ;)

I'm off to go downtown. I'm not a big fan of city buses. One time I was riding through Chinatown (terrible idea, many of them are mentally ill) and a Chinese guy got on and sat down next to me. He started talking to himself but then I made the mistake of acknowledging his presence. I don't mean that meanly, it's just that if you acknowledge crazy people on the bus they don't leave you alone after that. Anyways then he started scooching closer to me and I could smell booze on him. He started telling me about all the bad shit he saw in the war (Gulf war maybe, I dunno). He looked like he was either about to kill me or kiss me. My brother was like, "Uh, man we're getting off here."

That was the last time I ever rode the bus through Chinatown.

The best thing for poison ivy is vodka - he'll still itch, but he just won't care anymore.

Actually, vodka is the best thing for everything...

I wrote about 7500 words for my book this weekend. That's three new chapters, plus come editing and rewriting.
