Random Facts About You ....number 59

I am tired with a sore throat, burning up with fever today....and want to go back to sleep....but I have a story of sorts.....

The stairs that go into our basement are going to go soon.....A water guy that was here almost 2 months ago who needed to go into the basement brought it to our attention. he said..."You better have that taken care of soon, as the stairs are going to collapse any minute, and it is the top stair that is the shakiest..."...so here I am playing Russian roulet every day with them...and scared as shit each time I go downstairs into the basement.

panicked....as people need to go down there, including me a few times a day....we called our handy man person, who has been with us for many years.....and he said he would be over....he never shows....week after week...and then says, he will send his son over to do it...week after week.....nothing...He has become big fish now building houses for people, so I know he no longer has time for smaller jobs.....

So we finally look in the Pennysaver and call someone else. He came over pronto.....last night to look after he was called earlier in the day, and will be back on thursday to take care of it....The stairs need alot of work and support.....
He is Mexican....and a good person.....He talked with us for quite awhile...more interested in our pets here than anyone ever was, including the birds.....and wanting to know about a restuarant Stan mentioned in the conversation which I said was my favorite place to go....

i really like this new handyman....and the moral of the story for me was.....one has to get to know each person individually and not group any race, religion, political party....ect....together.

I am more than happy to pay this person very fairly and hopefully help him out, too.
I think hs is a citizen trying very hard out map out a career and good reputation for himself.

That is what i felt about him. I like him.

I just bought a Sony Vaio laptop,with 12gb RAM & 1TB SSD.
Never had a 'puta with an SSD before-by the mighty CRINGE,it's fast!

 

Yeah SSD are mighty quick.

 

well this sucks ...every night listed on the weather site after tonight shows below freeze temps...

 

Not that cold here.... Close tonight but no freeze yet for days.


They will of course change that forecast 50 times between now and then.....

 

My new handyman was here earlier and he finished the basement stairs...They will last forever now. I can jump up and down onthe top stair now and feel safe...YAY....so he does excellent work. I thought he would and I am so happy to know my feeling was right about him...he also fixed two pieces of furniture for me....that every time I glued them....it did not last long....so now, with his glue and power tool nails and screws....they are good forever now, too....
I am so happy a new, excellent handyman is found.

 

Not for me! A friend in HS mixed a black beauty into a couple of joints we smoked on the way to shop class in town.
Too speedy for me. I like mellow, trippy, vegetated, introspective highs.

I sleep on the right side of the bed...

I finally found a fix for the old truth of toast always landing butter-side-down.

I buttered the other side instead-and sure enough,it landed butter-side up!

todays job really sucked...was supposed to be an easy fix change sway bar bushing because of a clunk...but after wrestling with that for quite a while and getting it done i found a broken strut mount that was the original cause of the noise so i had to take all that shit apart and fix it.....

 

i bid on some local auction last summer and won something i didnt really need but i guess it worked out good because i just sold 2 of the items for more than i paid for all 5
