I think you need to be switched for having added to the snake population, Wiz. [IMG]

I hope and pray Princess takes care of whatever snake population there may have been. I prefer a snake FREE environment. There are woods on 2 sides of me, so its not like there is no room around here for snakes. Each time I've encountered one and/or seen their skins I think - good grief...I mean WOODS are right across the road on one side and behind the back yard fence on another. How hard can it be to avoid a house with humans! Well, pretty damn hard, it would seem.

I totally expected you to say that. I even thought about it when I typed the post about the snakes. :)

But the snakes don't want to be around humans. They just want to enjoy the sun and eat the same bugs and rodents that we humans kill all the time. We all share this place together.

Well NORMAL snakes don't want to be around NORMAL people, and I'm damn fairly convinced that normal people write science and biology books.

Here in the Twilight Zone, it is not normal.

We don't have mice. There is no reason I can determine that would make this house, this area, so seductive to a snake.

Good grief its awful and it makes me sick, and there is not a single solitary thing I can do about it. lol

Well....I love science and biology books. I also love snakes. The snakes I know also love science and biology books, abnormal people and organic gardening.....and they generally hate small-talk....as do I, which explains our symbiotic relationship on the mini-estate that is our mutual home. We're almost bros.

I'm still establishing herb and flower gardens, patio gardens and the meditation garden... Some year I'll have time and money to put into veggie gardens.
