I spent the day doing housework. Pleased with the results and may just change the locks on the door so it stays that way.

 

It was -10f when we rolled out this morning. If I would have realized that, I probably would have just shut us down for the day.


Got two unexpected checks in the mail today. One from my bank/mortgage company for over-paying into my escrow account. The other was from the insurance company for unearned premiums from my 2014 insurance audit. Bonus!! Then I took the checks to the bank and found out that my wife has a lot more money than I do. Not sure how the hell that happened.

 

i just cant see pintrest replacing womens day and family circle. maybe its because I can steal wd and fc from the doctors office.. idk..

I'm the only one in the house who is still awake. Bored. I should hit the sack but I'm not really tired. I have almost nothing going on this weekend except for trying to get Grateful Dead tickets when they go on sale tomorrow morning for one and a half minutes before they are all sold. I hope every single person in the ticket sales market contracts Ebola and fucking dies. Ticketmaster, Stubhub...all of them. They provide no meaningful service whatsoever and just jack prices up. I don't really hate anyone but those motherfuckers make me question my stance on the subject.

 

i was born nine months to the day, after roswell. nine months of course being the human gestation period. leonard nemoy would have been 16 years old on the day that happened. he died today so i'm told. at the age of 83. the character spock he portrayed on the origeonal star trek series, was a major influence in my life, and source of calm in a sea of anxiety.

 

I should say...I don't want anyone to actually die. What would be more fitting would be if a huge tree fell on their power line and knocked out their power....then they get a bid for $500 from someone but that guy can't get to it right away. It might take him 3 weeks. So they call me and I find out which scalper they work for and decide to charge them $2900 for the same work. That would be fitting. Pay it or go fuck yourself.

 

i also don't seem to count very well. it isn't nine months from feb to may. only three. a year AND 3 months actually. i have no idea how or why i came up with that. but i did use a calculator to arrive at his age being 16, though i did that a hard strange way too. 47-31 would have been easier (oh hell, i just realized i messed that up too. 83-47? let me try this again. oh well, it does come out the same). i must have spent the extra 6 months in a parallel universe somewhere.
