i don't want people to look at my art and think, gee he's a neat guy, he drew that. i want people to look at my art and think, gee, that's really a neat idea, maybe humanity should try that some time.
i don't need for them to care or think about who drew that. that isn't the purpose. that would only interfere with what its for.

i do wish though, that more people would have that kind of idea about what they're inspired to created.

that we had a culture that was more about sharing and giving, then possessing and trying to impress by doing so.

i know that's easier said then done. because i like to have tools to work with. some tools i would like to have, i will probably never be able to afford.

nothing that is dependent on being about money, will ever feel secure to me.

My mother and I have ordered the thing you strap on your calf and its supposed to help with sciatica. We both deal with it. It's just $20 ($19.99)...and they can have $20 if it hits the place(s) it needs to hit to ease that dang incessant burn, ache and/or plain ole pain.

We'll order some more if it works, for the future. She has accepted that unless something is made of brick and concrete, we can't expect it to last forever.

Quantity is the way to go if you find something that works for you...is my motto. :)

and I learned that the hard way, as I usually do. :D

I had that too....from running my saws. It sucked. Someone told me to go to a chiropractor (which I thought was kind of odd). They put this certain kind of tape on part of my arm to pull the skin and separate the area a bit to get more blood flow to the tendon. That helped a little but I figured...if some blood flow is good....plenty of blood flow must be better. That was when I started hitting the gym and working out regularly. I've never stopped running my saws or changed how I use them but my elbow problems have been almost 100% eliminated since then. It would seem like working the area would cause more strain but I bet even light arm workouts would help.

if i've learned anything, its not to expect anything to do what people claim or expect it to.

if such things were up to me, advertising would be replaced by complete specifications, required by law to be accurate, to at least three decimal places.

I used to freak myself out like that too, Tipsy Gypsy. I ended up needing to live on the top floor with security doors on the inside corridor. When I lived on the ground floor, I had a very protective dog. Other than that, I'd convince myself of intruders daily lol. I love mysteries & CSI shows ... doesn't help with my wild imagination & living alone with my kid!!
