So every year I buy my daughter roses for Valentines Day (based on what grade she is in....5 for 5th grade, 6 for 6th grade, etc) and then maybe on other special occasions. It makes her happy so that makes me happy. I found out this evening that every time I buy her roses, my wife has saved the petals.....from all of them....ever. I guess that's pretty cool. She doesn't know what she's going to do with them yet but she thinks maybe when (if) our daughter gets married the flower girl can toss them in the aisle. I say we sweep them back up after that though. You saved them for that many years...might as well keep them for something else. What do I know though?

 

that's cool....my daughter is 34....a buddy started a skateboard company in 1980 and I bought one and gave it to my daughter....I now have it here on a shelf....it has never been used outside and now worth 500 bucks.....might be the oldest thing I still have that I gave my daughter

good morning.....damn cold again here but thankfully not too windy this morning.....they delivered me another tank of oil.....500 liters for 500 dollars....cheap compared to last year....same load cost 650 last year

 

just had to fly outside and stop the dog from taking off after the biggest coyote I ever saw.....he was as big as my dog and fat for a winter coyote......

 

my car did not want to start this morning. -30C, I think this is a tie for the coldest morning we have had all winter. it doesn't really bug me that much anymore, to be honest, but that is probaby because I live in an apartment and don't have to shovel snow or really be outside for more than a few minutes at a time.

 

I drove around all morning. Now having a break, posting from my phone!

 

I used gas line antifreeze in my last several tanks of gas....it is under 2 dollars and seems to work...although.....I have not been out to start it yet today

asmo you never mention work....are you driving around for work?

 

I've never had an issue with it not starting so I haven't really considered gas line antifreeze or anything like that.

If I stay up here, my next car will have a block heater and maybe a remote starter.

I always see those 3 wheeled little vehicles in European movies.....ever drive one of those?....they look fun.....
