no....does not explain 5 dogs,..actually 6 dogs live here....
5 pugs, as Moxy had 6 puppies...one died at birth...5 left...being a surrogate mother with her....I fell in love wil all 5 of the pug babies for 8 weeks and could not decide.

Stan and my brother picked Eintstein...and Winni said she was not leaving...it was so hard to adopt out two of them at the time...i was not thinking of numbers...having to to do it all over again...i would have kept Champy away from Moxy,,,,

 

It was funny...when the people who adopted two of the pug babies were here to decide...Winnie refused to leave from under me like she knew...Shakespeare, the one they adopted took to them right away, and the runt, Sage...i had to decide as they wanted a female and picked her....i wish I had kept her instead and was heart broken forever about her and tried to get her back for Winni at first, but no can do...Winsome knew what she wanted, though...so ...that is my story and I am sticking to it.

There might have been...but that route was not taken at all....people who adopted two did some work around here for them......They are a big family that is a team that do everything from yard work to building houses from scratch...covering everything bewteen them from electricity to plumbing to anything really....They have been doing things for us for quite a few years now.

 

oh sweetpea....I didn't mean 5.....I meant the huge number of dogs....you couldn't be happy with 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.....and I said 5 because the other non pug is stans.....ive been keeping track and I pay attention.....

I found out this evening that a friend and I are actually distant cousins. Not like 15 generations removed but our great grand parents were siblings. That's kind of cool.

 

That friend that turns out to be family blows me away. It's happened twice with hubby and it's always fun to hear the discovery being made!

 

Aeri, I'm so glad your hubby's tests didn't show abnormalities, and that (most likely) tweeking his meds will alleviate the seizures. That gabepentin (sp?) or neurotin (again, not sure of spelling) did not agree with me when I tried it...not at all.

I didn't have seizures or anything, but I still had bad side effects from it.

son of a gun I am not getting my warm day....wtf?

only going up to -4c today

 

They are still saying it will get up to 29F degrees here today. About 14 out now. I got my car out of University parking (no ticket). They always clear their parking well. Plows did come through this morning at 3 am. There was one car parked in front of the apartment building so the plows left the heavy snow in all the parking places and plowed the one car in. I am parked way up the street where they did plow almost to the curb.

It will be a mess for a while since starting tonight we will be in the negative degree to mid 20's for the next week. No chance of melting for who knows how long.

 

they did a story on th parking spots that people shovel out in south boston......unwritten rule that you DO NOT park in a spot that someone else has shovelled.....

people save their spots with any large thing they can haul out...garbage cans...old laundry tubs etc....1 lady...who had a shovelled spot where she lived elsewhere, parked in someones spot in south boston at her boyfriends house....

she came out and her car was trashed....every window broken , carved into the paint jobwere th words ''not okay''
