Wasn't stumped by your original point either... But for some of us life isn't that easy.

Things happening as they will doesn't mean they happen in an easy way. Sometimes it's disastrous and nearly fatal events that are catalysts. Sometimes it's very small things that go unnoticed.

Nice to do for everyone and I bet they enjoyed it. It is always nice to have something homemade like that. :)

I think Celeste has hit the terrible twos in bird years. She has been super active and full of nonsense lately. I feel like I say "no Celeste" on par with when the kids were that age. She may say no before any other words I am teaching her. :)

If she does that then maybe I can stop saying it. :) I have been threatening her with saying parrot soup when she is really acting up, I sure hope she does not jump in a pot next. :)

Changed the oil pressure sending unit on the Cub Cadet GT2544 today... Hope that was the only oil leak. Never seen one of those fail like this one did. Had a used one on the other Kohler Command sitting in the shed, nice to have parts laying around.

Blew some leaves around for awhile and that leak is fixed. Engine needs a full cleaning to see if there's any other leaks.

Interesting watch Aeri and I hope it helps Piper. Far less invasive and worth a try for sure. :)

I read an article that said the laser treatment was successful on 62 out of 63 dogs they tested.

Alternatives have come a long way and can be useful in treatment of a lot of different issues. We had one doxie with a back issue and they used a tens machine to help him. We also used warm water just deep enough for him to barely touch to exercise without stressing the back. He made a full recovery, where as a few years before that it would have meant surgery.

I have seen a video of the therapy in water on a dog with a terrible back injury. The healing was amazing.

Virtually the same sender as the old GM cars used... I've never seen this type of failure before. Weird.

Finally finished the stool I've been working on. I'm not really very happy with how it turned out. That's what I get for not drawing it out in advance. I was just winging it. I used screws to attach the top....which I never wanted to do but by the time I did it....I just didn't give a shit anymore. I just wanted to get it done. Too many things going on.

I try to be more meticulous so I don't end up with shit like this. I love the wood but hate how it was put together. I told my wife she could use it to put a plant on or something. On the flipside.....my daughter absolutely loves it and wants it for her room. She asked why I made it so tall. Well.....it's because I am much taller than she is and I made it so I could sit on it at my work bench in my wood shop.

But I do love how the wood grain came together on the different sections. I wish you could see it better in the pic. I haven't put any sealant or finish on it yet but I think the wood was a success....even if the final design didn't really pan out. I have a few other projects for some different people in the future and I think I'll keep that joint style and experiment with it more with different woods.

It looks very solid and sturdy. I think it has an old world appeal.
