not sure my plan for today....likely I will do some more of the sun room.....everything that doesn't have a spot inside the house proper ends up in the sun room....and it is a pain because to get in my basement you have to lift 3 panels over the stairs in the floor.....I can get in there with 1 panel open but whoever designed the house put the stairway parallel to the wall so the panels once lifted take up the whole floor of the sunroom

Holy Shit!! I'll try to keep this short.

We got done with breakfast today. My son was walking around with his pants kind of low (something I've mentioned to him for a number of years) and I could hear my daughter telling him to pull his pants up and him making wise cracks to her in response. That went on for a minute or two while I was in the kitchen kind of rolling my eyes over it. He finally said something like "I'll wear my pants however I want and not be lectured by a 12 year old girl". I turned around as he said this and he was hanging from the door frame between the kitchen and dining room (something else I've told him not to do for years) and his pants were hanging about 3 or 4 inches low off his ass. In a spur of the moment decision....I decided to teach him a lesson and "de-pants" him. I wasn't actually even going to pull them down very far....more like far enough to make him think he was being de-pants. Well....they came down a lot easier than I expected them to and they fell to his feet while he was hanging there. The kicker.....he was only wearing long, thermal underwear and they fell too. So there he was....on Thanksgiving day.....hanging from the door frame in the middle of the house with his pants around his ankles and his dick hanging out in front of the whole family. (I am currently having a hard time not laughing out loud all over again as I type this).

I quickly turned back to what I was doing and he immediately pulled his pants up and accused his brother of doing it. I lost it. I was laughing so hard for so long that I was wiping tears from my face. And it wasn't just me either. My wife and my other son were wiping tears back as well. I bet it took over 5 minutes just for him to figure out who did it because we were all laughing so hard (as he was trying hard not to laugh but he couldn't help it). I told him it was his brother. My daughter was trying to tell him it was me. Hilarity ensued.....I can't even express how funny the next half an hour was.

At one point, I said "Hey...were are ya gonna get a Thanksgiving like this?!" A bit later, the kids were all upstairs and they came down to tell me something funny. I said "Yeah...that's funny all right. But was it Dick Hanging Out On Thanksgiving funny?" (which of course got all of the laughing started all over again)

Damn!! You can't even make this shit up!

 

that is kind of funny as long as it was just family around...kind of mean if there were others



winters officially here...ive mounted the plow blade on today and am ready for it but i sure dont want it

 

giant guitar on the Gibson float in the macy's parade is cool....big enough you could live in it

 

that singer on the sugar bowl float is beautiful and what a voice....this parade is actually pretty good compared to the decorated pick up trucks pulling scouts on a lawn tractor trailer followed by fatso on an atv with a goofy hat

when I lived up north the parade was so small that they circled around and came back in the other direction so the kids could see the other side of the pick up trucks

 

I got stories...

 

It was just our immediate family. No hurt feelings or anything either. It was pretty hysterical.
