The only reason I even got dressed today was to go to my local brewery for a couple of beers this afternoon.

I've also been kind of manipulating my daughters new-found interests to benefit what I think is best for her. Yeah....it's kind of shitty but doing nothing is worse.

as long as you aren't beating up boys that wanna date her I think a little persuasive steering can be helpful,

hunters are building their blind out back....will be hearing shotgun blasts ext week....they asked me if I would like some goose....and that they eat only the breast

also that since I have no clue they would be happy to show me how to harvest the breast...butcher the bird...what have you.....so now I am in over my head and next week will be performing butchery on bird cadavers in order to feed myself

    slow cooker here we copme

I was thinking of yanking the liver for some goose liver pate

Gutter, downspout and fascia painted on the west side of the house. Other than a few places I purposely passed over, (missed on purpose) this means I've painted the house all the way around. It's two tone brown, other than the brick, obviously. The dark brown will need re-coated next summer but the first coat is presentable as it sits.

Areas not done yet are the kitchen window frames because I have trim work to do, the trim around the last two big windows in the greatroom, and the garage door.

I also put an herb drying rack up in the sunroom this morning. No, not that kind of herb... the other kind.

Winds are dying down, time to start the outdoor fire and get rid of some junkwood.

Got that dead tree cleaned up and burned... Fire is dying down for the night. Still a bunch of bonfire wood left for other times.

Tomorrow... Brushing and burning again. "Pictures at 11:00" (tomorrow) (maybe) ;)

I took the girl back to the shooting range this evening. We may have stumbled on to something she's just naturally good at. She did pretty good last time but that was her first time ever shooting anything (even a BB gun). This time I told her to slow down, relax, breath, etc. The target has a bulls eye, the next ring out is 9 points, then 8 points and so on.

Get this....her first shot was a 7. The next 29 shots in a row were all 9's or bulls eyes. 7 shots were 9's. 22 shots were bulls eyes. Second time ever firing a gun.

Then she fired the rest of the 50 round box at a zombie target and hit mostly head shots.

    Crazy!

Why is it that parents always want to push their kids into competition? Just wondering...
