    The were extraordinarily freaky.

One young woman had on pink, spiked, stripper boots and was begging her parents to buy her a Halloween costume.

Hubby saw a girl walk into a rack because she was texting while walking.

I saw a strange white lady praying for a young black woman who was in one of the store wheelchairs. I'm pretty sure the woman started talking in tongues when I passed by.

When I go to Walmart it is usually 6am. Mostly just employees at that time of day. I mostly stay away from shopping later in the day. Too many people.

I was going to say that this kind of thing makes me glad that I don't go to Walmart but at the same time.....it kind of makes me want to go just to see what the hell is going on there.

I have things to do for tomorrow and I am not making much progress. I have to work on a speech and while it is already written I need to be more fluid with it. Maybe I will say it over and over to Celeste. She can't get away. :)

the more tea nazi's are in charge of things, the more people are going to become loonies as a result. i wouldn't have anything to do with wall-mart if they were paying me. but buss stops are another matter. and dam there were almost nothing but loonies at all of them yesterday. and it was a perfect weather day where i live too.

saw this anxiety me-me thing on another site, so i thought i'd post it here:

[ ] the dark (I love the dark)
[ ] staying single forever (the happiest times in my life i've been utterly and completely alone)
[x] being a parent (too many humans in this world as it is. Young and old are equially annoying)
[x] giving birth (being male, this would create no end of problems)
[x] being myself in front of others (being “in front of” others at all, unless I have a musical instrument in front of me, and am playing as a member of a large orchestra)
[x] open spaces (those which have people in them. Mazes feel more natural and certainly more interesting)
[ ] closed spaces (I love them, if they are mazes, but I wouldn't want to be locked into just one small one)
[ ] heights (again this is more about other people seeing and watching me there, then the thing itself)
[ ] dogs (can and tend to be annoying, but totally depends on the individual involved. That goes for any living organism of greater then about 1/3rd of my own mass)
    [ ] birds
    [ ] fish
    [ ] spiders
[ ] flowers or other plants (those which produce chemical irritants transferred on contact ARE annoying. I wouldn't know about anxiety other then to avoid physical contact with them. Poisonous ones don't require me to eat them)

i'm going to ignore the idea of counting, as because, anxity isn't about fear but uncertainty about fear, and so there's a certain ambiguity about all potential causes of it.

[ ] being touched (potential for brutal response to innocent or even unintended contact concerns me)
[x] fire (always a potential cause of trouble)
[x] deep water (more a matter of how far from dry land if its deeper then my own hight)
[ ] snakes (other then getting too close to poisonous ones that attack reflexively, this is a religious lunacy I don't subscribe to)
[ ] silk (huh? I can't even imagine what would cause anyone anxiety about that. Maybe if you were a silk worm?)
[ ] the ocean (that it exists? No. being out of sight of land, dependent on a boat not sinking, yes, to a reasonable degree)
[x] failure (mostly the embarassment of it. Its all about potential embarassment. I think every anxiety that doesn't involve a risk of death is)
[x] success (not itself of course, but coming to the notice of others because of it, that very much so. I don't create to be noticed myself. I create in the hopes of encouraging people to think about things, how they make the world and how they could, instead of assuming that they don't and taking anything for granted)
[ ] thunder/lightning (the best kind of music)
[ ] frogs/toads (another odd one. Though to(a)d seems to be the word for death in some languages)
[x] my boyfriend's/girlfriend's dad (all humans essentially, especially any accorded some sort of authority)
[x] boyfriend's/girlfriend's mom (not that i have any, but if i did then maybe. at my age their parents would most likely be dead, or else their parents might actually be younger then me too. ouch.)
[ ] rats (annoying that they shit everyplace, and nibble holes in everything, and MAY SOMETIMES carry dangerous diseases, but fear, anxiety? Of those cute little things themselves? Another one i'm glad I don't understand)
[x] jumping from high places (why in the hell would I ever want to?)
[ ] snow (well i've seen mechanical transportation get stuck in it, but snow itself?)

[ ] rain (how in the heck can I wash my neck, if it aint a gonna rain no more? I don't much care for getting a sore throat from being out in it. Annoyed by the inconvenience of staying inside to avoid that. But since most of what I like to do is inside and right were I live anyway, I don't see too much problem with that.)
[ ] wind (makes pretty music)
[x] crossing hanging bridges (I don't recall ever seeing any, other then really big ones like the golden gate, other then in pictures. Crossing a long distance on just one cable, and dependent on my pysical strenght to hang on to it and not fall, THAT is something I refuse to do. Anything where safety depends on my own physical strength, there's no way in hell i'm going to risk that. Physical strength is something i've never had the interest to develop)
[x] death (well its not something i'm looking forward to. I like to imagine its something i've reconciled myself to that it will eventually happen, and a lot sooner then as long as i've already lived)
[ ] heaven (whatever comes after death will be interesting to see and experience. But will there be anything until we are again born as infants on some world, just as we were this time? I know i've lived other lives before this one. But that's as much as i'm willing to imagine actually knowing anything about it)
[x] being robbed (not because of loss, but the combination of threat and embarassment)
[x] falling (again, its all about the potential for embarassment. In the absence of an audience, there is none)
[x] clowns (the concept is annoying, but only that. Just humans in your face, for any reason)
[ ] dolls (not sure I understand what is intended. Do you mean robots? Or coming to life like zombies? Or what?)
[ ] large crowds of people (its more a matter of humans, regardless of how few or many. And that's a matter of loss of being alone to be able to concentrate on enjoyment. Its more like not being able to escape from being around other people. Actually larger crowds feel safer then smaller ones, because it becomes easier to cloac myself in annonymity in them)
[x] men (again its a matter of not being able to not have a sapient audience for embarassment, regardless of sex, age, or anything else. The arrogance of aggressiveness, is doubly repulsive to me though)
[x] women (less so then men, but still the annoyance of their being human)
[x] having great responsibilities (great opportunities for embarassment. Again the real root of it)
[x] doctors, including dentists (presumably this means the annoyance of having them poking around inside of your metabolism and the unnaturalness of it. Fear I think, of getting stuck by them into having to fallow some unnatural seeming habbit. Their being able to tell you your life is at risk if you don't)
[ ] tornadoes (haven't lived where they would be a likely threat)

[ ] hurricanes (high wind velocities i've experienced and not felt threatened by. Only problem would be if I were where something might get torn loose and hit me as a result)
[x] incurable diseases (those and weakness to them from famine, are the real threat to our species from climate change. Not just one or two, but thosands of them, constantly and rapidly mutating. Even faster then names can be invented for them. Hepatitis-c is merely a name for a comon collection of symptems, rather then any one known disease or cause of it)
[ ] sharks (I sort of think i'd have to be in the water somewhere for them to be any kind of problem)
[ ] Friday the 13th (more fanatical 'religious' bullshit. I'm more afraid of PEOPLE who 'fear' it.)
[ ] ghosts (why fear? What are they gonna do? I think they're fun. The ones i've met all seemed harmless enough)
[x] poverty (been there a bunch of times. Its an annoying inconvenience. Always know where the soup line is, and avoid feeling like there's anything you can't live without, because you never know when you might have to)
[ ] Halloween (I think that a day for remembering the departed being turned into a day to dress up for the sake of being scarry, well I think its an evil thing that dominant belief has done this. But otherwise, costuming and a day for everyone and especially children to enjoy doing so, no, I don't worry or feel bothered by it. That humans might use the cover of it, to cause harm, well that's humans again)
[ ] school (having to be around other people)
[ ] trains (why? And why if trains are on this list, why aren't cars. They're more cause of harm to the environment and more threat to humans and other living things. Trains aren't going any place there isn't tracks for them. Cars might though. Even airplanes are more likely to hit you falling out of the sky, that being hit by a train if you're not standing in the middle of or too close to their tracks)
[x] cars and people driving them (hell yes. As long as mutual consideration isn't a dominant part of the culture, and aggressiveness is, they are way more dangerous then any other form of transportation)
[ ] odd numbers (what are numbers going to do? I'm repelled by numbers that have become cleche's. Most of these are not evenly divisable by whole numbers. One, three, thirteen, seven. Numbers ending in one of those, but not because they're 'odd')
[ ] even numbers (love them. Especially powers of two)
[ ] being alone (happiest times in my life I have been uterly and entirely alone)
[ ] becoming blind (this would bother me a lot. Everything I love involves shapes and colors. Fortunately I have no difficulty imagining them in my mind if I ever get to where I can't actually see them. Being made dependent for my survival on others by it, that's also something I wouldn't like about it)
[ ] becoming deaf (in the wilderness good hearing is a blessing. In the city, it is a curse.)
[ ] growing up (somebody define their terms please)

[ ] creepy noises in the night (if they sound like they're being made by anything human then yes, otherwise, no)
[ ] bee stings/wasp stings (not fear, just the grungy feeling as they heal)
[ ] not accomplishing my dreams/goals (i've never lived a life in which I could expect to. (more then a very small percentage of them) Its annoying, but familiar)
[ ] needles (what kind? You mean hypodemic breaking the skin unnaturally? To some degree. Getting something sharp imbeded in my skin? I don't much like the idea of that either.)
[ ] dinosaurs (how? Why? I mean a reptile bigger then I was, well that would be the same as any other animal that was.)
[ ] the welcome mat (huh? You mean like having to knock on someone's door, demand their attention, or enter a strange place? Only if it involves humans and their potential for causing embarassment)
[ ] high speed (in what sense? It can be perfectly safe on rails, or in the air. I wouldn't trust having to be in a hurry, nor in anything with a steering wheel)
[ ] throwing (?) (the possibility of damaging something, or angering someone by doing so? Those might be a ligitimate concern)
[ ] falling in love (potential of dependence on affection as a source of harm, or loss of everything solitude enables me to enjoy? That. But not affection itself, if its considerate and real)
[ ] super secrets (of militarism and human aggressiveness itself, that, but not of that people don't want to tell each other everything)
and why isn't conservative politics on this list. I can think of nothing more frightening nor dangerous then that.
Human aggressiveness too, and anything that romantacizes and rewards it, and especially a culture that does so.
    Belligerence of course.
And every kind of prejudice with or withoug belligerance.
And that includes idological and religious prejudices.
This are the kinds of things that cause me more anxiety then anything that was on that list.
Everything that might cause embarassment or death, these are my sources of anxiety.
Not any of these other things that are less likely to.

Found a different kind of wasp today... They nest under loose bark in dead trees. I found this out while pissing them off with my chainsaw.

    Well, at least nobody died.

road trip the other day we dropped a dead elm at he edge og hid front that was right at the fence line on the road...I wanted it for wood and I estimated it would fit in my Hondas trunk......it was leaning towards the road and I suggested we tie a line or winch to the atv and pull it towards the house away from the road

he was like ''fuck that's too much work'''.....it was lying on the road about 10 seconds later and of course a car was coming...we cleared it off the road in about 30 seconds....it was awesome....the entire tree ut down to my trunk perfectly

    yeah i meant his sister

he just doesnt mention the father much so i always figured he didnt like him that much

when he does mention visiting him it sounds like more of a chore than a visit to be honest...but i could be reading his words wrong
