I've been tearing apart the clothes washer. Hubby and I are going to bypass the lid switch with a jumper wire and see if we can get it working.

OMG, now hubby finally pulls out the back plate he's been hiding, which has the machine model number on it.

Seems the machine has a malfunction feature for the lid switch so now he is trying to figure out how to bypass that as well as bypassing the lid switch.

I doubt this is happening tonight.

Nah. We're careful. It was pretty damn windy today though. Lots of "playing the wind". You throw branches in certain ways with the idea that the wind will carry them away from obstacles and into drop areas. It's a real hassle when you're over power lines and the wind is trying to blow everything into the lines. "When in doubt....cut small!" We get paid by the hour....no reason to cut corners and be unsafe. Nobody wants an accident....even if it's a poor little mouse.

BBad, hubby said that ours is still not exactly like that. We've got the lid switch malfunction switch to bypass before we bypass the lid switch.

He says he has a plan.
