Went to a chili cook-off today. I had a Bloody Hillbilly. (Bloody Mary made with moonshine and a dill pickle spear instead of a celery stalk.)

It kicked my entire Irish ass. I thought it was a Bloody Mary and that they'd run out of celery stalks. Until that first gulp. Not funny, JoeBobBubba dude.

the road grader came down the road...he does a double pass...the first pass leaves a foot high pile of loose gravel right down the middle of the road and then he smoothes on the second pass.....for several years I have been meaning to get out there between passes and steal me some gravel tto fill the spot where I get a puddle...right where my driveway hits the road....big divet there

no longer....I stole 3 wheel barrels full....tempted to go get more but I already left about 30 shovel marks right in front of my house....not to mention the driver can easi;ly see where I have new driveway courtecy of the township

it is a brisk day//.....been holding off on the last grass cut of he year because the gd leaves aren't falling and I want to mow them into my grass.or at least as many of the fuggers as I can

 

Most of my leaves are still in the trees... Many of them still green.

buddy just dropped off a set of extra keys for the truck and told me he has a set of chrome wheels for the truck...he wants 20 bucks each

 

If you'd throw a few bucks at the road scraper guy he'd probably fix your driveway for you on his lunch hour.

 

Went an voted this morning. Seems to be a good turnout at the polls considering it is early in the day.

Leaves here are beautiful, a lot more reds this year. Pretty!

.it always annoys me that they put some goof at the door to look at the card for poll number...i can read the fucking thing myself thanks...asshole today grabbed my arm as i was walking past him..if he wasnt so old it would have ended different

yeah my childhood dog was border collie and super smart thats why we didnt get another one...we knew after that one that they would all disappoint

 

I think a standard size poodle would be amazing to have! Apparently, they make great bird dogs too.

 

Just don't ever have it's fur cut... Nobody would know what it was.
