The abdomen muscle is not hurting as much today. I strained it lifting a big tote, half full of water, into the sink. Hubby drained water from the clothes washer into it.

The ankle is getting much better, too!

Hubby had some Voltaren gel that seems to be working well for morning stiffness with the knee.

Soon, I'll be all good to go!

 

I still haven't dug up the potatoes or the sweet potatoes. Haven't planted the garlic, either. Lazy. And pouting about the cold front that moved in. It's not time for that, yet! Stoppit!

 

brutal day at the ministry.....way packed....lady was nice but I had a fine and my 75 dollar cushion went to a 40 cent cushion in the blink of an eye..


garlic is a few weeks away for me....all my maples are all still fully foliaged

 

I'm sooo envious of your maple trees, Rolling. Do you make your own syrup with them? I tasted some real Vermont Maple syrup for the first time last year. It was nothing like what they sell in the store.. which is 'I think' nothing more than HFS and food coloring. The real stuff is yum.

 

I've got Maple trees that would put those in national parks to shame...

yup....I still have half a mason jar full from last springs batch....and this year I have several more local trees to tap...hoping to have a dozen here possible more at a friends farm

I was given a hundred buckets and taps...spires...what have you....

but first things first...do not rush the winter on me please....lets enjoy this last few snowfree weeks....even though it kinds pellet snpowed here today for a good hour.....more like frozen rain

old folks remember steve martins routine?...lets get small?....he gets small and goes driving and he shows how he has to stretch his arms out to reach both sides of the steering wheel

funny you mention that

one of the first things i did on my truck was get rid of that giant steering wheel...find a nice small sporty one from a cavalier or sunfire with no air bag...they will fit perfect just need to trim a small bit off the back edge with a knife

the rear speakers are a weird size like 4x10 or 3 x 10......hard to find replacements i think the last time i seen some was at princess auto

I've typed out two or three different posts that I decided to just delete. I'll just say that I went shopping with my wife today. That is all.

Well....at least I was looking for some items for myself. That isn't so bad. She won't take me with her otherwise. She'll just leave me at home because I hate it and I will have a lot to say about it for the entire time. Stuff like "Yeah...nice scarf! Those Indonesian children do great work!" That's the kind of shit that gets me left at home.
