Sometimes it can take time for the new medication to work and it is unfortunate that you are in such a lot of pain right now as it is harder to know then. I hope that it eases enough to allow you to be more comfortable for longer than hubby's pill lasts. :( Be careful about the functioning though as sometimes taking the edge off the pain means we push it a little and that is not good.

Starting to feel human again, thanks for checking Aeri. :)

I never noticed that. Thank god it not all 666!!!!

    That's good to hear, Heather.

I won't over-do. There's still enough ouch left to keep me humble.

    Yes, it did.

It seemed like I was going to wash clothes at home tonight but there was a plot twist so now they are going to soak until tomorrow when I'll take them out and wash them at my son's house.

Yes, Bbad. I pushed it and released it and it seems okay.

Hubby had to replace the timer dial once already. He thinks it might be that again.

My oldest son has been calling around about apartments lately. (I might get my guitar room back?) He talked to some people today to set up an appointment to see a place this evening. They told him to just go look at it, it's vacant and unlocked, he can just show himself around and call them back. The keys were laying on the kitchen counter.

Seriously. When I say I can leave the state for a week or two and leave my doors unlocked on my house...I'm not kidding. My neighbors will keep an eye out....and come take care of the chickens while we're gone. I always say I want to move some day but...damn. There is something to be said for the integrity of the people you live around.

There's alot to be said for that integrity.

Of course you could ask around and move somewhere else with neighbors just a straight up, I suppose.

...unless there's a broken wire on the back of the switch or something like that.

I'm sure that there is that kind of integrity in many places like the area I live in. I love where we live, I have a lot going on here....but I just want to live somewhere where winter doesn't exist. Or at least me working outside during winter doesn't exist. I say this shit every year around this time. Every year it seems worse but then again...every year goes by faster and I'm like....eh...it's only a few months. I can deal with it.

Wintering over somewhere is like giving birth. You forget the pain so you do it again.

I bet it isn't anything super expensive to fix yourself but....if you're going on your husbands track record for fixing shit.....you might want to call someone else or do it yourself. I used to know people who owned an appliance store. It's almost a racket. Some parts list for 10x what they cost plus service call fees and hourly rates for a relatively easy repair. Something that is two screws and a wire might cost $230 on a machine that is worth even less. It's kind of a crappy deal. If you can figure it out and fix it yourself.....

I can start to do it myself but since he thinks I'm incapable, or just to fuck with me, he will take over and stretch the job out to where it takes a ridiculous amount of time.

I don't care. I'll just start going to the laundry mat like every other day. I bet he will get it fixed in a decent amount of time once I start that.

You know...I had a few things to say about your husband that weren't very polite. I'm not going to say those thing because you generally already know what I think. But how can he be so obtuse? Really?
